So uh, didn't realise the new server was up, i was waiting for it to come back to minecraft a little! Wanted to move a build from the old vanilla server, but wasnt sure if that was in the plan tbh xD

That's pretty old..I'm not sure we can get that moved mostly due to some of the older backups I have kind of messing up. What was it you had in mind?

Dunno if you know the big 9 sided castle up north in the snow? - was next to one of Maxi's places and not far from where one of the build competitions was. I don't rly care about the stockpiled resources xD just that build took me some time / still under construction.

-I'd extended the middle of it to around 170 height - should be noticeable

Can't for the life of me remember the coords either... : (

so the test server is now the live server? I've been holding back logging on as I just wanted to get started on the new map :confused:

Also, I've got the launcher v3 and MC is still at 1.2.5 is that what the server is running as well?
 
No the current map on the Live server is the "old" "corrupted" "broken" map, the server that the test world was on has been removed for the time being while FT does some work in the background.

You should be using the V2.2 Launcher at the minute if you wish to play
 
right, cheers for clearing that up man. Got a bit confused and thought the new map was already live...
tbh I'm staying off the old map and just waiting on the new one being opened up to us.
 
before i dive head first into coding this thing to dig upwards, what is the highest natural structure you've seen of blocks with gravity? I cant think of a solution other than to pulse the top drill head a lot of times in all 8 positions so that the machine wont get blocks falling on top of it.

i'm thinking there wont be many things that it should be digging through with more than 10 blocks with gravity stacked on top of each other but does anyone think otherwise?

Yeah I was thinking the same xD for a minute hence the build query.

I think I shall await for the newer server to launch before coming back on, I've just about sobered up from freshers week now but still can't quite track what is going on. :p
 
Does anyone know how to get the MSI afterburner OSD and recording stuff to work in minecraft? I'm ready to show off the behemoth but I cant record it :(

all i have to do is shove some directions in and, as long as there is room in the enderchest, it will burrow its way along :)
 
Hey all just a bit of an update.

We have been working hard to get all the bugs out of the server and new launcher
we are very close to being finished the setup with many changes and new things added
some removed. Currently writing up the changle log and rules to go with the new server.

Noting to crazy rules wise just some things we have to put in place to
make sure the server is not over loaded.

I am not in work myself tomorrow so will have time to finish of some testing and write up the changes for the site.

IF things go well tonight we may be up and running this weekend.
as for the MC version yes we are still on 1.2.5 as craftbukkit mcpc has still not been updated as well as readpower 2. the only 2 mods we are waiting on to get updated.

Craftbukkit is not expected to be done for another 2 weeks
this is craftbukkit mcpc version before you all shout at me but it is 1.3.2
that is not the one we use. it has to be the mcpc verson.

I beleieve I have a copy of the map for this build.
but i need better directions to find it. I will be looking for it
on friday if you can think of better direction or even a
carto map for it i can at least use that to find my way there.
