I think this was down to the tick rate on the server which has now been resolved
 
If anyone has problems with chest upgrades you need to change the config files so that all the ITEM IDs with a 1 at the beginning have a 2 at the beginning instead. 5punk3monk3y said it would be fixed in the launcher tomorrow but since i ran into the problem tonight and he told me how to fix it i figured i'd share :)
 
I'm not sure if it'd be possible to fix this, but I spent a week setting up the circuits and whatnot for a multi-floor elevator. Whatever was done last night to fix the timers has made it almost run smoothly, but it still kills me if I stand on it :(

Am I just gonna have to forget the elevator idea?
 
Hmmm could do, don't wanna have to wear stoopid boots all the time though :D

My solar panels aren't generating anything either and my battery boxes are empty :/

Do you have a layer of solid blocks on top of your frames or is it just covers?

As for the bluetricity issues my advice is to keep frame motors on completely seperate circuits with their own power supplies.

When my build was first moved across I had the same issue, and if you craft a voltmeter to check the wires it just says ~N/A. Since splitting my supplies they seem to work, even though the motor circuits still look like they shouldnt!
 
ah, this would explain why i'm constantly running out of IC2 power. i guess the one solar panel isnt giving enough power for the retriever because of the issues :(

e: while i remember, is there a 'suggestions for new mods' thread on the linktart forum? i wouldnt mind suggesting a couple
 
Oh this is weird, i've noticed something odd about my small setup as well lately. Shows a battery level, but not getting a feed from my panels. The cable also keeps getting a gap in it :(

This has been a while in the planning and when they annoucned 1.4 was going to be coming out a few weeks ago I thought it would be a good time to bring back Vanilla! We have been working on the server for a while but are obviously waiting for Bukkit 1.4 to hit and the plugins before opening the server so it may be a little time away. There will be more news in the coming days :D
 
I like this aswell - although I'm a great fan of all the stuff maxi hates I look forward to taking part in the competitions you put together!

Me and Aire have our reputation to withhold - 3 build comps in a row I thing we've one? :P
