Generally speaking the admins tried to move player's sponges and other donation rewards over to the mod server but your period for getting this done may have expired. Yrth or 5punk would have to answer you on this one I'm afraid.

I think the distance is unlimited, but you have to take into consideration that all the pipes have to be loaded for it to work. You're better off with teleport pipes for anything beyond your usual range, but then you'll still need a chunk loader planted to keep it going when no one is there.

We did the move for all players in a 1 month time line.
All maps are now gone from the server so i am afraid the items
will all have been deleted.

Khrest i believe you only like to play on the vanilla server.
If this is what you want the donation stuff for i would suggest
speaking with maxi or saf regards this. They may be able to help you
as the MOD server will be moving from the sponge/stem system for
donations. I don't know if Maxi/saf are allowing the old donations to be
carried over to the new vanilla server.

If you want them for the mod server i will have a look but
the logs may not be there anymore to port the donations over.
 
Thanks Yrth. I've only come back to the game because of the new 'vanilla' server and I've found some of the old addiction is still there ;-)

I had a couple of sponges on the pre-mod server, but it's not big deal; Alex and I will probably donate again soon :-)
 
How would one go about joining the vanilla server?

Used to play this months ago with a server setup for work peeps, but they slowly lost intrest, and im looking to get back into blocky fun :)
 
If you haven't played on the Official OCUK Minecraft server before you will need to get yourself whitelisted!

Sign up to LinkTart.co.uk then create a thread requesting to be whitelisted, you will be asked some questions relating to the server rules, then if you get them al lcorrect you can join the server by using the IP provided in the link above :D

Sponges/stems on the modded server may be carried over. This is still being looked at.

We would love to carry over old sponges/stems that are lying around on older maps, but unfortunately we are unable to load these old worlds which means we can not get builds moved or items carried across.
Believe me when I say I'm just as gutted as everyone else about this, because I was working on the Normandy (space ship) and now it is gone, all gone :(

Perhaps, if the future allows, we may be able to carry stuff across, but as it is at the moment it seems extremely unlikely.
 
Currently building an Ice Tray for anyone to use if any of you need an abundance of ice. If you have any snow/pistons/slime balls lying around feel free to donate ;)
