*** Official OcUK Minecraft Server - Discussion and Rules ***

i hope an update to the test server is OK on the 16th, because this is looking awesome now :D

hopefully this will fix the OOM error we've been getting, but i'd rather you tested it on the test server before putting it in the main one. What it does do is add compatibility with ExtraBiomesXL :)

Well that Logistics pipe bug just reared it's head again, had to put on the latest version server is back up, new version is in the dropbox - sorry guys.

Btw your logistic networks are still intact this time :)

ok guys the cause was logistics rolled it back a couple of version and i will re-enable the whitelist shortly

you need to grab the minecraft.jar also as i ruled out forge but kept the latest version

if a mod could refund me a minecart with a normal solar engine, normal coal engine, wood cutter, fertiliser, internal chests and side chests that would be great. for some reason it has completely disappeared.

i'm also down 3 stacks of charcoal and a couple of stacks of bonemeal because it had that inside it, so if that could be refunded too that would be great :)

I think I broke the server :(

I have a request pipe in my storage room recessed in the wall in the corner by my enderchest. breaking that should fix things. I also have a request pipe in the wall in my magic room on the side furthest from my storage room. you might have to break that as well

if not then break the crafting pipe which is supposed to be making awkward potions (should be on the end of the row of 5, in the room roughly underneath the second request pipe i mentioned)

Seems i'm the only one who posts in this thread these days...

Since I'm the one who wants ars magica the most I thought I'd had another play at getting ars magica bootable.

Technically its bootable for me after removing:
CORE
- microblocks (cant remember proper name)
- misc peripherals (doesnt even work in the normal mods folder)

MODS
- chicken chunks
- NEI-Plugins
- NEI-Redpower Plugins
- WR-CBE Addons
- WR-CBE Core
- WR-CBE Redpower
- xycraft

obviously we cant have all those mods removed on the server, but it might let you guys work out why ars magica kills the client.

It still dies after about thirty seconds of play and spews out this error in the client:

2013-02-23 03:52:43 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The ForgeModLoader state engine has become corrupted. Probably, a state was missed by and invalid modification to a base classForgeModLoader depends on. This is a critical error and not recoverable. Investigate any modifications to base classes outside ofForgeModLoader, especially Optifine, to see if there are fixes available.

I also tried the above setup with chicken chunks enabled and it detected a world leak about two seconds into play and shut everything down pretty quickly.

I tried to run it without codechickencore, but it refused to boot

I can't take it anymore, I'm going to have to have a rant about gregtech. Whilst I agree IC machines may be a little too easy to build, gregtech goes too far.

All I want to do is build a few water mills so I can trickle charge my bat boxes for when i want to use the machines or charge my batpack. I'm not really into building things on an industrial scale, so I find it really annoying when I've got to build power hungry high level devices just to get the aluminium I need to make some relatively basic water mills!!

When it's significantly easier to build comparable machines in thermal expansion, what exactly is the point of having gregtech and its frustraighting restrictions?

With you completely on this one, I've had some experience with most of the mods on the server, but never seen the point in gregtech. It makes even some the of the very simple machines, like you mentioned the water mill, a huge undertaking. I remember them being pretty much the first power source I used to set up.
