I've just downloaded the new client and I get this error when I try to run it. Anyone got any ideas?

I dont know if you've changed anything but I've just downloaded it again and it's working fine.

I'm using the 1.4.7 folder on there not 1.4.7b

I'd like to but I constantly see server updates/changes on here which confuse me :p I just simply want to play Tekkit! if that's what you're doing how do I go about joining? :)
 
Having some serious trouble getting on the mod server, have downloaded the mod package 5punk linked me to via a pm, first issue was I didn't have FML installed, so added that to the jar, now i'm getting an error with FML as shown in misterPK's image posted earlier

Have tried both the packages in the drop box folder and no luck?

Anyone help?

Think of the LT server as tekkit+ :) to join make an account on http://linktart.co.uk/ and follow the how to join instructions (the tab on the right).
If the guys who make the FTB pack make an option for private modpacks then it will make updating completely automatic, for now we just have a dropbox folder with an entire minecraft folder that you can import directly to MultiMC


does anyone have a copy of the map from when we still had ars magica on the server? (preferably the latest one before ars magica was removed)

FTB does have the private mod pack feature. ;)

Does anyone have an auto mob killer that i can put a brain in a jar into? I wouldn't mind enchanting some more stuff, but killing blazes is getting quite boring now
 
Hey, I am trying to login to the mod server but I just keep getting internal socket errors :(

Also can't get on to the mumble as it asks for a password and username?
