Does anyone have working mods for 1.6.2? (i.e Rei's minimap). I normally use MultiMC which isn't working for 1.6.x, I then went to try ModLoader which I used to use, but installing by trying to put it into the new .jar file system doesn't work either.

I gave up a while ago but had another go just now and logged in fine no problems. Going to clear some work then give it a good thrashing .... oh dear god I see horses 
I think this a Minecraft issue not a server one. Try creating a new profile with the new launcher.

Have just started using the vanilla server how come everyone seems to be fully kitted out? Builds have gone up overnight and I am struggling just to do something basic?

That is a step too far for me. I just want to explore straight away and find a spot. Now before I do that I've got to grow a food stash before even setting out and hope it doesn't run out?

I found it a bit tough Bubo but its still enjoyable and errrr.... a nice chap has a free food box on the go at spawn .....

I basically went underground (After gathering loads of food and a bit of wood), and did not emerge until I had full iron armor and enough iron for lots of swords and pick's etc!
It can be very tough if you are out in the open at night, zombie's seem to be going crazy

Thanks for the info cuffylad much appreciated and for helping with the horde, all I seen was a flash of yellow and you were gone ... banana man style
Really enjoying it, but someone please tell me if my build is not suitable being that its close to central
I've done some server updates today so hopefully it should perform a little better. Weather should also be fixed as well as the spawn in the Nether.
I've found the armour bug but it is going to take some time to fix but hopefully I can get it done today, this will mean some server down time for 20-30 minutes while some plugins and permissions are changed. I'll keep this thread updated with any time frame of when this will happen.
