1.8 - also about the server - I personally wouldnt want it all wiped, I would if possible like some of my build taken, im not bothered about my castle that can be recreated, my libary & the manic Miner cave has taken me some time. & I will miss my stripped walled garden. Are you going to set up a spawn like we currently have with peoples builds? coz i think that there are some real master pieces that should be transfered over.

If we are able to take some chests how many? coz i start dismantling some stuff lol

Nutty i took a look at ur screen shots earlier today of ur texture pack - will that work with 1.8?
 
nice little npc village i found while exploring a desert biome, ive seen quite a few of these npc villages they will be a nice place to hang out initially while your exploring.

Great thing about this pre-release is the amount of bugs they'll be able to fix before they even release it - I'm assuming it won't be monday. And also that Bukkit and the plugin devs have all this time to test too. Hopefully when it is finally released it shouldn't be so bad as 1.7 was...
 
I've got this mega weird glitch. If I leave tools in the 3x3 grid of the crafting table, double the amount of tools drop then a glitch happened where it filled my entire inventory with stone pickaxes. :p

But they were one use only.

Is this a unique bug or has any one else got this?

indeed. and it is 128 as well, ie: put 4 in (or 3, it seems) and get ~ 128 back.

Right ok mate, what you want to do is go to the minecraft forum or gmail or something and email the people that make it.


they might have missed it and it's worth you just informing them so they notice it :)



it's a beta game so providing bug feedback where you can is definitely a good way to improve the game for everyone

I like how it overhangs though!

Couple of bugs I've just come across :

If you place a torch underwater it will break but still illuminates the area
In creative mode you can dig straight through bedrock and fall out of the world
