Managed to get a decent sized stack of iron and 8 diamonds along with a stone brick house built in 1-2 hours of playing around last night.
Only hit a slight snag when i merrily dug down to bedrock only to find that /spawn and /home didn't work

They should be working now at least.That's strange. Pretty sure I added them. Will check later.

Definitely true! It was great with 10+ people all in the same place, running round building houses, mining for coal, and avoiding the mobsMust admit, even though everything is only temporary, i enjoy the fresh start to build stuff

It's definitely the reason i play SMP, i'd hate single player, most of the fun for me is running around with others who are on the server. It'd be nice if we could keep everyone within quick walking distance of each other when the proper map is released, sadly this won't happen though

I have setup my own server and am running hamachi
A freind has connected to me and I can see his pc in hamachi. The minecraft server is 192.168.0.7.
When he enters this ip in minecraft it says not reachable. Whatdo I need to do so he can join my server?

enjoying to messing around in the test server atm, not gonna do anything significant as its likely to get wiped, but very appreciative for FT's time spent getting us bods something up to play on
He has to post here himself with his own account etc. Check first page, has the info there. Then you vouch for him.
