Hehe, in all seriousness, I played a long time ago too - it's amazing how quickly you pick it up again. The only thing I don't remember is the full layout of all the maps and locations of special things: Quad, Regen, Invis, Teleport, Etc

But seriously mate, come for a game tonight ;) Add us to your favourites in game and lets get it oooawwn!

Blasted through the first tutorial part of the game and got to the expert portal without even realising. Heh.
Had a couple of games last night- gone midnight, versus mostly yanks, and I got destroyed 3 out of 4 games. :confused:

I totally pwned on q3dm17 though. I got 30 kills, and the second highest fragger was only on 19. >D
 
queue wasn't too bad just now (6 minutes) tho I guess its a low point of the day for the US and most people are still at work in Europe.

Just come home and loaded the queue for a quick game, only 2500 and in the past 3 minutes its down to 1800. I'll be adding the new people on the list very soon!
 
^^Just managed to find you, Simaster, in a game of TDM. I joined but can't say I'm a fan for the more obvious reasons that you can get shafted with a team of random noobs or a team of pros :(

Good fun though, definatley going to be watching my list about 8pm to see if I can get us an OcUK game!
 
Yes I do agree Kunbje, but I think the teams weren't too badly balanced that time. Are you more a fan of pure Deathmatch games then?

It wasn't too bad, except you had two French guys who were really damn good and quite frustrating and you won a lot more rounds.

Yeah much more a fan of Deathmatch, its free-for-all non stop action and you rely only on yourself. It can suck if you are getting done over and can't get to a weapon but it's less annoying than getting done over "as a team".

I'm usually up for anything for a while though, just getting in a game is good enough for me!
 
I must say I enjoy quake, but the machine gun is sooooo bad, that it becomes a case of finding a gun before you can kill anyone.

Is it supposed to be like this?
 
Yes you do really need to find other weapons if you want to do well. But once you know the weapon spawns on a map thats not too difficult at all. They respawn pretty fast so it should never be a major issue.

I am in the queue now mate and can have a game then if you are still playing? - 2200 (5mins maybe?)

Had a game with CliffyG earlier and played a bit of deathmatch, was quite close but I kept seeing you just after spawning with no gun and as bad as I felt taking him out its kill or be killed. Good games though!
 
LOL no worries, that first game was my best went badly downhill after :(. Just dont have the reactions i used too.

Just opened it up again and im still logged in somehow, added you thorpy.
