Comically, it is by far the largest thing in the case and just fits. It's also a single mm shy of the northbridge heatsink
It's sitting in a Silverstone LC17 which is a fairly small desktop case, so it's starting to look a bit cramped.
I'll whack up some pics tomorrow evening.

Is it ok to leave the fan at 40 % throughout the day. The temperature when gaming is in the low 60s. Is that good?

Finally got my card properly set up and watercooled after buying some additional heatsinks for the voltage regulators. Now idles at 30C and load at 38C hope to get some benchmarks done tonight. Looking forward to seeing how far it'll clock too
Sounds good. I hope I get nice low temps like that. What block are you using?

Contents - card, xfire connector, dvi/vga connector, 2 molex to 6pin pci-e power leads and usual manual/cd etc

Card size shown against 8800gt (just fractionally longer)
Card in situate. Need to sort out watercooling when blocks start to arrive for 5850.
Anyway, simple procedure of driverclean etc to remove old nvidia drivers, reboot and install ATI drivers downloaded from AMD website (never bothered with cd).
Install fine first time. Initial things to note, very quiet stock cooler - really impressed with that as usually they are damn noisey things. Can't be heard over my existing rad fans etc.
Anyway onto some benchies for those that are interested.
Q6600 @3.5ghz, 4gb ram etc.
8800gt at stock speeds (600/900)

Good solid increase but not the best gfx power test as mark06 is fairly cpu dependant still

Resident Evil 5 benchmark
1680x1050 & 4x AA (all the rest set to high), fixed test

5850 - 77.7FPS average
Again a good/85% increase.
Overall impressions - very pleased, very quiet cooler for stock in windows and still very quiet when benching. Will improve no doubt with lots of clocking options starting to appear like modded bios's etc.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Will head off to play some games for a bit now i think!!!!
Not got crysis installed so can't run that bench mark for the time being!

Also, is anyone else only getting 7.0 on the WEI on Windows 7? My mate's 4850 gets 7.3
I am loving how powerful this card is though, beats the hell out of an 8600GT.

I always thought the GTX260 was more on a par with the 4870 rather than 4850?

I just got 7.7 for my 5850 in graphics and gaming graphics. Not sure why yours in 7 tbh.
