Uh, I fail at daylight saving calculations.
MKBHD confirms the camera is meh, like the 8 before it.

mrwhosetheboss says the 8T cameras are competitive with the Pixel 5's cameras
That's a huge stretch. He was probably paid like mkbhd is.
I honestly think the new norm (save for highest of high end devices) will be FHD. QHD is a wholly unnecessary luxury IMO and I believe it only became a 'thing' because at the time (circa 2015ish) it was the only development manufacturers could wheel out to make us upgrade. High refresh has been a much better development and now that consumers begin to realise that FHD and QHD produce effectively the same user experience manufacturers are reverting to FHD.I'm confused with the display of the 8T compared to the 8 Pro. We've gone from 3168x1440 @ 513 PPI on the 8 Pro to 2400x1080 @ 402 PPI on the 8T. Is this because the 8T has gone back to a flat screen and Oneplus can't fit a 1440p display into a smaller, flat screen?
Is it a case of buy the 8 Pro if you want a bigger, higher res, more PPI screen and buy the 8T if you want the latest specced phone with Android 11 out of the box, a higher capacity battery and faster charging?
I wouldn't fully discount it just for that - however that's your prerogative. The £650 8 Pro on Amazon is luring me, but I really want a flat screen. I'd have the S20 FE, but 6gb Ram is too low.
If you're saying mkbhd was paid he still mentioned that the cameras were a bit meh.
.
In the past he gave the OnePlus 6 best overall phone, over the Galaxy Note 9. The Note was easily better, sw is debatable.
