*** Official Planetside 2 Thread ***

Should read their forums. The "current" subscribers who generally weren't there when PS was at its best, want to make PSN into something it shouldn't be. :mad:

Things being mentioned are;

They want to add a stupid class "tree" so you can only spec into a certain role, this is completely ****ing stupid. PS was great because your character was versatile in any situation.

Give weapons lots of customization, like suppressors, sights, etc... This in my opinion will ruin the game completely, I'm fed up of games that always rely on me choosing certain things for that situation and making me have to group.

There's many other stupid ideas!

I loved PS because I could do many different things as a squad or solo player using one character. That's one thing I'm afraid SOE will take out! :(

Really hope they don't listen to that "current" player base.

Lol, you obviously don't know SOE then.

Most of the changes were due to the minority, not the majority ;)

Unless you work for SOE, you can't promise anything...

Maybe there is hope for what was the best MMOFPS, maybe Smedley and SOE have learnt from their mistakes?

Maybe this time they do indeed listen to the majority unlike last time which pretty much ruined the game?

Since Smedley has already "stated" there will be no BFRs in PS2, least that's a start.

Everything is a "maybe" in todays MMOs... ;)

What a knob. The current subscribers will ask for stuff that will ruin PSN from the start.

Loved PS, played it with OcUK for a time too, those were the days! Can't wait for PS2!

The limitations alone will ruin the whole aspect of Planetside...
