Light assault and C4 will easily cancel out the Riot-Shield, I remember the flame throwers from the beta but I played TR back then and the mini guns took care of crowd control so I didn’t use them much

Doesn’t really matter they can’t be any worse than the scatter cannon. ;)
 
I heard from one of my outfit members that the Max update was pushed back to May but checking Higby's twitter feed, he hasn't said anything like that, so fingers crossed it's still soon. I also heard them speaking that they think the Lock-Down mode for the TR Max will not allow them to rotate and be forced to look at 90" in one direction. I hope this isn't true. :o

Seems when I used the nVidia bundle code, it unlocked the Zepher PX from me but it also took 700 SC from me, so asking support to fix that.
 
Well considering we're already over half way through April and they don't release patches each week it would seem like May is a likely target for its release.

With the MAX update being so close but needs fine tuning it won't be far away, so GU08 is probably most likely

Scat maxes were always easy to kill, just 99% of the population prefered to face hug them rather than kite them or shoot them with their pea-shooter rather than use C4 or rockets. Even in Bio Labs if we were facing a decent outfit you soon knew about it as maxes started dropping. They've been nerfed so it doesn't matter now anyway. With flamethrowers my concern is wrecking peoples FPS rather than damage it will basically be a continuous explosion going off from each arm so with say.. an all flamethrower max crash?

It will be just like the prowler, except the Max doesn't have a turret so will be fixed in one direction, don't worry it's still by far the most useful of the three so I'm sure you'll be happy with how op it is.

Thats how it was in PS1, so I imagine it will be the same.

  • Removed the forced weapon swap after deploying an object.
  • Lock-on rocket launchers can no longer lock on to turrets.
  • The repair tool targeting now functions similar to the heal tool.
  • All extra VS damage scaling at range has been removed. VS minimum damage now matches the damage scaling of the other two factions.

  • Aimed Accuracy: 0.3375 crouch moving, 0.9 stand moving changed to 0.2 crouch moving, 0.35 stand moving
  • Hip accuracy: Reduced by 0.5 in all movement states.
  • Short Reload: 3.4 seconds changed to 4.15 seconds

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed health and shield bars intermittently displaying as empty when wearing nanoweave.
  • Fixed reticule flicker when compensators are equipped on LMGs and slug ammunition is equipped on shotguns.
  • Fixed 3rd Person animation issues with the Phobos VX86
  • Fixed an issue that caused 1st and 3rd person animations to break for the Lancer if it was reloaded under the right conditions
  • Fixed issue that removed access to the VMS or DMO scopes when logging out with them equipped on the Eridani SX5 or SMG-46 Armistice

Vehicle Updates
  • Increased Magrider base strafe acceleration rate.
  • Increases top speed to 20 KPH (up from 15)
  • Takes 2 seconds to reach 20 KPH (down from taking 3 seconds to reach 15)
  • This should also cause the Magrider to not slow down as drastically when strafing over small inclines.
  • Damage received when a vehicle flips over and hits the ground reduced. The vehicle will still take increased damage and eventually be destroyed, but this should allow a chance for the vehicle to right itself or passengers to bail out before it explodes.
  • Added option to toggle off inverting steering controls when a tank goes into reverse.
Improved Flash Handling
  • Should be easier to control while in reverse
  • Traction should be improved at higher speeds

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issue that would not allow the S12 Renegade to be equipped while being trialed
  • Proximity Repair system should now properly award support XP to the owner if they are not in the driver seat


UI Updates

Strategic Communication Improvements
  • Removed blinking map regions
  • Capture progress is now displayed on the map
  • Ally activity displayed on the map
  • Influence pie charts have been replaced with population percentages
  • Changed the visualization of enemy activity – activity level coloring is now a gradient of red instead of spectrum of different colors

Think I'll go for the black model of the commisioner myself... Some good changes there though, look forward to seeing all the new ui stuff.
 
I went for the normal Commisioner myself since my weapon camo will always be used.

I'm pretty disappointed with this patch, it's ruined my FPS again and on top of that it seems with the recent buff to VS weapons, Maxs take damage at a insane rate from their infantry weapons.

Really don't like the long cap times too, someone worked it out that it would take 2 hours and 30 minutes to cap everything while a alert is 2 hours long. Really don't like sitting around for 14 minutes on a point doing nothing.

Not overly bothered about weapon camo on a pistol tbh, I'll probably go for the normal one too actually due to the price difference, and the black isn't actually very dark in game.
 
Not an official one as such, just lots of Outfits that have members that are on OcUK.

Depending upon which Faction you play & what server you are on, will determine who replies :D
 
Started playing this last night. Joined the New Conglomerate on the Cobolt server as an Infiltrator, loads of fun.
