Drop pod spinning makes me want to vomit. It's blatantly the fix for people getting further than intended with drop pods... but it's a pretty viscous fix.

Render distances seem to be screwed again for infantry :-(
 
Yeah I can't stand drop pod spin, fps seems to have taken a hit again after this update. The harasser seems pointless to me, don't like it at all and don't think it fits into the game.
 
Looks like SOE are giving all of their accounts that are subscribed or have previously subscribed free premium membership between 3rd of May and 1st of June, there is also a discount offer on membership if you haven't signed up yet.

Also, 'Loyal Soldier Bundle' for current (and former I think) subscribers, basically free Soldier/Vehicle/Weapon camo as in the pic on this post. Log in and it should come up as a notification to accept the bundle (press k).

And as if by magic......!

VS and TR pushed us really hard last night, we were nearly warpgate locked at several points but had managed to hold them back by the time I logged off. Bit of a nightmare for our platoon commander to relearn the map and where to try and break out to though!

I am getting a little fed up of a constant double battering on our borders when the VS-TR flank is completely quiet though.

There are 3 promotions at the moment.

The 1st is the loyalty bonus where a subset of people get free cammos.

The 2nd is the free month of premium. Which ISNT granted to existing subs or anyone who spent SC after april the 3rd.

The 3rd is a reduced price on the 3 month rolling sub (for a limited time).

The official response from ProSeb is that these offers are not currently avaliable, but they will look at doing something similar.

So yes it seems that for the next month the LOYAL members who were paying for a sub will be queing with people who chose not to pay for sub and got one for free.

Thanks for clarifying that, wasn't entirely clear on who got what when I posted earlier.
 
Loving the new fractures on the TR MAX - an epic battle was had 2 days ago for Crossroads Watchtower in which plenty of TR MAXes and NC MAXes were firing rockets up/down the hill at each side (the raven sounds so epic too!).
 
Yeah the new Fractures are awesome, you feel like a poor man Scatmax in them. (God they still fragging OP'ed) 3 (4) rockets in them and they are down.

Also bought Mutitators with extended mags, 300 rounds without needing to reload is awesome for Bio Fights. While the enemy has to reload and reload, am just firing away.

Hope they do the Tron Trims for the other vehicles, really want it for my Prowler.
 
Earned 29 points all in one lot for nothing today. THere was some major battle going on to capture one of the 3 whole maps AMerish by the violet fraction (which am on). I was just on this map and got those much needed certs. Wonder how often that happnes?!?!

Violet faction is the Vanu Sovereignty :P

What you describe sounds like an alert. They come up every few hours and basically say capture continent X, at the bottom of your map it will show a percentage bar which shows how much of the continent each empire controls. At the end of the alert everyone on those empires will get some xp. This is 10,000xp divided up based on how much territory your empire controlled. If you're on the continent in question you also get an extra 20%.
