*** Official Planetside 2 Thread ***

I'm pretty sure that both SLI and CROSSFIRE are officially unsupported in PS2 at the moment. It could have changed with a recent patch, but at one point the devs were actively posting on the forums for people to play with it disabled.
 
I haven't played this game for quite a while, and for good reason - it took over my life in the Summer of 2013, I racked up 40 days in game play-time in total, I'm worried that if I go back on it that I'll get hooked on it again!

I'm in a small, high rank outfit [VIB] on Woodman, Vanu. Maybe I'll play it again at some point, it was a really fun game!

You really should come back! The game has changed so much (generally for the better). Still great fun and no other game offers anything even close to what PS2 can offer.

Whats a good way to get station cash for free, i heard of survays and stuff but i dont think u can do it anymore now.

Also any codes for stuff, i found 3 for some decals and a bonus xp for a hour but nothng more than that.

Just i play casually and i never kill much when i play so certs are very slow to get for me and while some other methods of gameplay would maybe increase certs i dont want to play that way i.e medic or sunderer spawner etc.
 
No real way to get them free I think.

I bought station cash nvidia codes off ebay as it's cheaper than in game.

You can get a 6 month 50% XP boost for £26, seems steep but it really helps you out if you want to progress quicker.

Considering the game is free it's not that bad, I've put far more hours into it than I have games I've paid full price for.

+1 for Erolls comments it's definitely better now and still in my eyes the best mmo out there :)
 
We only have a roadmap until beginning of April at the moment, most of that is Amerish revamp (lattice, base changes, performance etc), Infiltrator update (New cloak, bolt attachment for sniper rifles allowing you to chamber a new round whilst in scope, recon drone, motion detector deployable), Liberator update, lots of UI updates, Mission system and quality of life stuff.

So yeah early summer I guess for Hossin if I was being optimistic.

Is anyone who is not playing yet, doesn't have a account or not played for more then 6 months and wish to come back?

If so, I would really appreciate your help with the recruit a friend thing, am planning on getting the HEAT-R for my Prowler.

Maybe I'll come back at some point, too busy with uni work at the moment though. It's an incredibly fun game and I really enjoyed playing it, but I did play it too much last year and don't want to get hooked on it again!

I might be able to help you out with this. I haven't played in a long time and tempted to give it a go again (even if for just 5 minutes ;))

He needs you to click a referral link and then spend about £8-10 on the game or something like that.
