Any other controllers plugged in?
Dunno but if it's happening to us both it sounds like a bug rather than a user error.
My mouse is a deathadder 2013 if that makes any difference.
Any other controllers plugged in?
I downloaded this a few days ago via steam and finally got some time to play it last night, or so I thought!
I opened the launcher and it wanted to download another 8gb of dataseems its a known bug with steam and the launcher and I have to turn off auto updates via steam.
Anyway it should be done by the time im home from work so will give it a spin, any suggestions on race etc or should I try them all?
Yeah, when you spawn, go straight to a world terminal (globe on the screen) and select VR Training. There you can equip any of the guns and drive or fly around as much as you want. Get a feel for how each faction plays and go with that.
Except you have to go NC in the end, cos the other two are rubbish![]()
I've got 5500 SC to spend on my NC character, what would you guys recommend? I use all the infantry classes but for vehicles I mainly only use the Reaver, odd occasion I'll use the Lightning.
There's someone selling 5000SC codes on the bay for £26 which saves you around £11 from buying in game. Not bad.
it's still the best free game out there..
It's the best FPS game out there. Nothing even comes close.
Vanu all the way (also on Woodman)I ended up just going back to my Woodman VS character, NC on Miller was poor, no big casual outfit to play in and Vanu have a major night zerg which is when I mainly play.
I suppose it could be something intorduced by the new patch, so the problem may not even be from your end.
They are pretty quick at fixing these new bugs though.
There was a patch Thurssday and a hotfix Friday.
Cheers it's so frustrating as it's costing me certs as I'm in my lighting and then all of a sudden stuttering then black screen but can still hear and control my vehicle or character then I'm dead
Run your Planetside 2 Launchpad and log in, but do not press play. Click on the Advanced Tools icon (looks like a hexagon surrounding a wrench) in the lower left and then choose the option to open game directory. In the window/folder that comes up, locate, make backups of, and delete the following files:
PlanetSide2.exe
UserOptions.ini
SoundSettings.xml
LoadingScreen.xml
InputProfiles.xml
vivoxoal.dll
vivoxsdk.dll
Once these files are deleted, close the Planetside 2 window/folder and go back to the Launchpad > Advanced Tools/Settings menu. Click on the Validate Game Assets menu option and then press the green Validate button to have the Launchpad check your game files, and download any missing or corrupt files.
Personally, I tend to do the following after major patches/releases.
