I never knew (and no did not get it from this video as not watched it yet), but PS2 have hired Totalbiscut, surprising move, but then they also hired a CS player for help on game development, mostly on how the weapons feel in game ...

Have they actually hired him? I thought he was just a fan who was given special access to promote the game. It is a very good move by SOE, he is a fairly big name with well over half a million subscribers so is good for spreading information about the game. Plus he played the original game so knows what he is talking about most of the time.

Where did you hear this? I seriously doubt he was hired by SoE - all he's done so far is help promote the game as a caster at E3 being a huge fan of the first one.

Also he already has a busy career casting SC2/random game podcasts. He's not even a pro gamer so I don't see what role he would have on a development team at SoE.
 
Just signed up for an account and put my magazine code in. I'm guessing I just wait for an email when the client becomes available now?
 
Yeh, this is killing me now. I really need this beta to start lol, Battlefield 3 is just so lame unless you are on voicechat in teamspeak. I want to be able to chat with random people from the same faction, going to be so freaking amazing. 100's of tanks, 100's of aircraft backing you up, omg this game is going to be a milestone in gaming.
 
Mid July is my strongest guess. Wonder how many continents they'll have for the beta/retail game?

The first one was, it was so ahead of its time. It's really weird since it's been about 10 years and i've not since played an FPS (let alone see any MMOFPS's) that i've genuinely enjoyed like Planetside :(

Loved the original. Remember my parents not being to happy about having to pay the monthly charges but meh! Saving up for a new build so I can happily play PS2 & C&C Generals 2. Going to have to inform the fiance' she wont be seeing me much when these titles are released!.

I read it on their site, but can't find it now ..maybe I miss read it but im sure I did not.
