Agreed. I play Vanu on Miller and recently tried out TR on another server, my jaw literally dropped when I started hosing people down, their guns are 100% easy mode no two ways about it. I already know that when I am up against a TR Medic or HA, I will not win, because they get off so many more shots before I do. TR attracts the most players because their guns are most like call of duty (easy to use).

Also, mossies with rocket spam are ****** ridiculous. It's a one man ESF that can dominate infantry, vehicles etc glad to hear they are getting nerfed as well as more ground AA buffing. You had your day flyboys !

It's funny, but Vanu think the TR guns are OP and TR are firmly in the belief Vanu guns are OP. NC never seem to be mentioned, clearly shows they're getting the shaft.

You make it sound as though the Vanu guns are pea shooters in comparison, when they really aren't. Insane ROF and a lack of recoil means they more than hold their own. Not to mention Vanu clearly have the best MBT, strafe anyone? Scythes seem to be much easier to handle as well .... roll a dual burster and see the difference in trying to shoot a scythe down, compared to say a Mossie or Reaper.

Last few days i've been on, the Vanu have actually had the highest % pop.

TR are OP in the guns department. NC do need a buff and the Magrider does kick ass, yeh it can strafe but we have to do that due to the fixed turret.

This guy did in depth analysis of guns and found TR to be overpowered.

yeah the guns are actually very balanced. Depending on which server you are on, in the last week we have seen triple continent locks by TR, Vanu and, shockingly, by NC. Having played both TR and VS I dont find the weapons imbalanced at all.

Ah right, does anyone still use the default weps? Plus I should imagine that attachments make a difference as well, sights and barrel would throw that data right off. If were talking vanilla default weapons then maybe, but I cant imagine that has been relevant since the second day of launch. To say it makes TR OP across the board is a bit of a leap.

Well i don't think TR weapons are OP, i know they are having a Vanu at BR 27 and a TR at BR 13 i think i can safely say that some of the starting weapons are insanely good. Take Heavy Assault the default TR gun is about on par with the Vanu default with a foregrip. If you then add a foregrip to the TR gun then it becomes a beast, if you miss then you can't aim as it's almost impossible with no recoil what so ever.

If you watch any of the big platoon streams you'll see all the HA's use the default weapon, where as with the Vanu you need to spend 1000certs to compete.

I've flown quite a bit theMozzie and Scythe and i can safely say the TR equivalent is much much easier to fly. Also it seems that Rocket Pods on TR are much stronger and totally dominate infantry.

You don't see much about NC as to be honest they are a little underpowered, they need a small buff but nothing major and that will bring them on par with Vanu. Where as i think TR need a nerf at the same time as a NC buff to bring all three factions in line with each other.

I do think TR Prowlers require a buff though.

Yeah a lot of people do, seeing as the HA default weapon is one of the best they can get and a lot of people don't want to pay to play especially in a f2p game.

I wouldn't say they are OP across the board, but certain guns need looking at in terms of recoil and Rocket Pods we will see what they are like after the next patch nerfs them a little.
 
I love the Prowler, but it is the weakest of the 3 tanks due to having such a confused design implementation - it seems to be designed for mobility and ambushing (good speed high RoF), yet its main gun is useless on any kind of tiny bumps whilst mobile, and each shot fired pulls the barrel up meaning you have to slow/stop to have any chance of hitting anything. Our empire ability is also useless in 99% of engagements. We are great at killing infantry though, so there's that.
 
No i agree, but until your air support gets toned down, it would be stupid to buff the Prowler. I've just had to take a break as 2 Mozzies kept an entire base in one room as they just pounded us with Rocket Pods. It's completely and utterly stupidly strong at the moment and is making the game at times feel like a joke.

Before all the TR guys come and go "eurghh Scythes are OP and can do the same" no they can not.

Im sorry but if 2 mozzies did that then those people in that room need to uninstall the game immediately and maybe consider just playing minesweeper from now on.
 
This is the problem, people see this happen and cry "OP OP OP" ... no, it's not OP, just bad play.

You do have to wonder where all the HA's were with their AA or the Max's with their bursters. Kind of depends if it was just him in the spawn. I can clear a sky of mossies just by locking onto them individually, not even firing a rocket. They dont seem to want to stick around.
