Population XP / Resource bonus moved over to continent population instead of global

That right there is going to cause a big change, now I have an incentive to go and fight on a continent despite being warpgate locked.

I farmed the **** out of an NC sundy yesterday with my HE on the Lightning, got like 20 certs in 5 minutes, it was actually ridiculous. This patch is definitely on the right track though regarding less XP for newly spawned players. You know something is wrong when you are the second gunner on a magrider and you blow up the enemy sunderer only to be told 'WTF ARE YOU DOIN!!? DON'T BLOW THE SUNDY'.. :rolleyes:
 
I do not understand this patch at all. Theyve made it even less worthwhile to be a defender by reducing your xp gain (as though you had a lot anyway) because youll be facing mostly new spawns charging your lines, made bases even more porous than before by making it harder to camp down spawns which means the meta game becomes even more rubbish. Its just a license to zerg as you increase the number of areas you need to lockdown before capture. Is that what they want to turn the game into? three zergs doing circles around the map?

What a load of rubbish, havent played for a week and dont feel anything there that makes me want to come back.

I don't think that is whats intended or what will happen myself, I can see why this has been done & welcome the changes personally, I think the spawns were way to easy to camp & adding routes that are not vulnerable to air attack is a god send.
 
Simply stunning game - loving this more now than I did in beta! Really looking forward to that the devs have coming in the future.
 
Think I may jump ship to Vanu. Have a fairly well kitted out toon on NC that I enjoy a lot, but there seems to be a serious lack of Outfits to join on Woodman. Liking the sounds of the some of the VS outfits, if not the thought of starting over!

So, any fun, active but casual-friendly NC outfits on Woodman before I throw the towel?

Was playing this for about 5 hours on Friday night with a mate. We had a squad going and had 10 randoms join it. We didn't however join a platoon and just kept it as a small spec-ops like squad and had just as much fun (probably more) than when in a full platoon. We were just going around doing what we wanted but as a team watching each others backs and so on.
 
Didnt like the beta to much but, thought i would give the game a second chance and im glad i did,
I been playing this virtually every night!! for the last 2 weeks its a fantastic game especially if your in a outfit i've joined 3rd odst, and been having a blast!
always people from the outfit on till wee Hrs of the morning, its kinda like BF3 but on a massive scale, defo one of my top games now!

Whilst we don't know what the cost of the server transfer token will be, if any, perhaps look at Woodman and if you really can't find any outfits look at other servers such as Miller for NC outfits (we have plenty) and if you see one you like start a character to just join them see what they're like then when the transfer system is added, move your main? Just another, if slightly convoluted option instead of starting over.
 
Will come back to this when the patch hits. The UI colours kill it for me because of colour blindness, also hoping the performance gains from the patch will be noticeable.

Look up Doomcraft in the squad list, we usually have at least one open squad on the go with someone using voice to lead, and we're talking to some of the other outfits on the server to get some large scale ops going. Message Crowe ingame if you can't see a squad.

I have heard that you will be able to migrate to a different server is that true?
If so what is the most popular server for OCUKers?
Is there an NC OCUK outfit going on any servers?

Should had joined Miller really, all these other servers are going to die out as the months roll by.

Enjoy easy mode Vanu, if I could jump ship and take all my weapons and stats with me, I might also come.
