Woah, loaded the launcher for the first time in about 2 months, 1 gig of an update!

Since last week I've been getting issues for Eg at the Crown on a turret and can see the tanks on the Hill over the valley so start shooting and hey presto they disappeared and happened yesterday with other ground and air it's obviously lag but how do you fix it?

Same spec as mine, I only see 45fps in big zerg fights with 200+ players. Most of the time it is 70+

Here is how Planetside 2 runs for me most of the time, direct feed from AMD recording software..

Key thing is to put shadows on low as they really tax the fps, render distance around 2000m, flora low etc

Guys, I play with 20 FPS and lower a lot of the times so I don't want to hear you moan about 45 FPS. :p

If I had 45 FPS, my infantry K/D and accuracy would be double or triple of what it is now. ;)

Will fiddle around with the settings some more and see what I can come up with. It's ****e tho, crossfire 290s,should be able to just max it and forget it!
 
Actually I read that before alright and since my CPU is currently at stock (cooler broke) that would explain the poorer performance than I remember.
 
tbh I've the same GPU in my current rig as in my old one. getting MUCH higher FPS (was getting 1-5 on old. new one is smooth and normally over 40 I think)
hell of a difference a new CPU makes, tho the core speed isn't that different.

looks like downtime started from 12 till 4. my bad.
 
I wish they'd fix that - whenever there's downtime it lets you log in but shows you an empty character roster. Scares the bejeesus out of me every time :D
 
Prepare to be rained with 1000's of certs those of you with maxed out acquisition timers. Also, the new Valkyrie drop ship thing is going to be up on playtest server this week apparently.
