Rage is Steamworks. Every retail copy is Steam compatible.

Correct. Just the vehicle battles and co-op. Still looks ace though.

I'd be surprised if they didn't have some reason to using RAGE as a stepping stone to get their foot in with it before going all in with their old IPs. I'm sure there will be some good FPS MP yet with this engine if it runs as smooth as it looks.

Don't see why they haven't got proper PVP multiplayer. Only that they just didn't have the time and manpower to do it properly, with all the focus on single player. Even co-op seems like an after-though. It's not like they don't know how to do multiplayer games.

Expecting to see Quake3 / Quake4 style game mods to their new engine.

Pre-ordered for £23 + 4% cash back. Just fancy a good old SP game for a change. Bit fed up with BF3 & played out on BC2. Always loved the art work & look to ID games. Remember when Q3 arrived? Classic.
