I Remember Carmack talking about the possibility of needing three dvd's a few Quakecon's ago, so it comes as no surprise. Doom 3, as just one example, had three discs.
 
Doom 3 was 3xCDs though, was it not? It would have fitted on a single DVD.

I await the day BluRay drives become standard on PCs.
 
Looks really nice, also nice to see a good amount of gameplay. I like the fact its not in your face liek doom, more open and a nice element of semi sniping.
 
At first I was like "Meh Fallout meets Borderlands" but gradually all the trailers and tech videos that have been coming out have got me very excited for this. I was tempted to pre-order but I think I will wait for reviews first.

This. i thoght it looked like abit of Borderlands.... I'll wait for some reviews before i buy this. If it's good then i will get it.
 
I, too, hope it's something special and not just a tech demo. If it's as good as Doom 3 then I'll be happy.
