Quiet atmosphere at Wigan today. Lots of changes in the backs (Charnley dropped and others rested - including Bowen), but a fairly solid pack. McIlorum and O'Loughlin were taken off early. Wakefield scored an interception and a 100m ball steal try, so don't let the scoreline suggest it was close.

Cas away next week will be a REAL challenge. It sounds like they are bang in form. I wonder what Bowen will make of the atmosphere at the Jungle? :) We're having a day and night on the lash in Leeds on Saturday, staying over and then going over Sunday lunchtime. I can't wait.

Having listened on the radio (I live down South), sounds like you saw an amazing game!

yes mate. really enjoyed it. good atmosphere in the north (i think) stand. huddersfield werent great and i was expecting them to win. i was made up widnes won as brough started kicking pens very early second half. widnes capitalised on the giants mistakes.

nice to go to a game as a neutral.

Messy game and we let them break through too much, especially in the first half. Happy for the win in the end! Fages is really a star player for Salford and was ripping it up. Mellor and Brown were doing well for Widnes.

I know the Salford fans were giving the ref some grief but the sheer amount of holding down that the Salford players were doing really prevented a quick game a lot of the game. The Dr was giving the ref some grief at the end and told them to **** off. Not sure the RFL will be happy with that one...

Just started to calm down after todays win over Wigan, not seen Wheldon Road like that in a long long time, it was quite funny actually to see the Wigan fans going into delirium when Smith knocked the drop goal over, only a matter of seconds later to be going into crazy town ourselves when Dorn went over in the final seconds, we are Cas fans, that isn't what's meant to happen.

Good game at Cas yesterday. Cas look like the real deal. The best team definitely won. The ref kept Wigan in the game in the second half (a couple of mystery disallowed tries). It would have been a real injustice if they had won. They are definitely missing a reliable goal kicker.

McIlorum's foul must have been worse than it looked (I was 70m away tbf).

Rovers were pants, yet again. Was surprisingly cold at Saints but walked in with a few Saints fans, always a decent bunch of people and had a good chat.

Onto Wigan next week, got some old friends from uni coming up and we are going to the game. Again, more in hope than expectation...

Overall happy with win v Widnes.

Thought McGuire was terrible, poor kicking, bad decisions, predictable lines, he really needs to step aside for the likes of Sutcliffe imo. Other backs as a whole played well, Ablett again in centre - I like! Forwards though looked a bit small IMO, same against Hudds, seem to be missing. Fair play to BJB! Hall has his work to do now!

We were awful. No passion by the sounds of it :(

HKR looked really good in the first half, but Wigan held on and pulled away in the last third of the game. It looked like HKR would score every time that they got into Wigan's 20 in the first half. The defence out wide was abysmal. I don't know technically what they did to fix it up at half time, but it worked.

That's a fair point, but I'd also argue that Wigan looked like they would score every time they got near Rovers line!

Good game though, enjoyed it up until the result became inevitable! Whilst we don't look in a good position in the table, we have got rid of Huddersfield, Wigan and Saints away, along with Leeds at home, all of which are games we would have been clear underdogs to win. I aren't panicking yet...

They could still be playing and Wire wouldn't have made a break :) The worst performance by a Warrington side v Wigan for at least 5 years. They desperately need some play makers. I think I'd persevere with Ratchford at 6 rather than fb.

Very impressed with Bateman and Burgess

Yeah was pretty pointless. Got bored after 20 minutes and froze my arse off! Nothing major to report, Hardaker had a good game, got MOTM I heard - well deserved.

Singleton too - loves the contact that lad, I'd have him start over Kylie "50%" Leuluai anyday! Kirke frustrates me again. You look at him and the size of the man is immense, he should be a right unit. Instead he is lazy and uninterested imo. Been given too many chances.

I stopped watching after 20 minutes and did something else! The London full back looked alright though, not sure his name, the rest of his team let him down. London definitely for the drop.

Poor, poor game at Craven Park today, albeit the conditions were dreadful at times, however there were more errors than points.

Rovers utterly dominant from start to finish. I'd love to see the tackle count and possession stats because I don't think Bradford even threatened. I don't mean to sound derogatory towards them but I seriously can't understand how they have got the two wins. They had ideas and effort but they are really lacking size.

Rovers again lacked that cutting edge, Keating got MOTM but I really don't understand where that came from, Burns was much the better of the half backs. Rovers were good in the forwards though, Weyman and Larroyer again looking dangerous. We did the tough stuff well, but tried our best to throw it away at times!

Oh and Widnes v Hull! Haha! Nice one Widnes!

Happy with yesterday's win.

We played it very safe but let a few of their attacks through. They were good in defence and lacked execution when they had the chance. Overall, the better strategy and team won.

Bring on Bradford :)
