Can't see it personally. Tomkins is on the other side of the world and half a season away.

There hasn't really been a dip in form. Wigan are so up and down at the moment that a 2nd half like that doesn't really come as a surprise.

Sts will get stronger as their injuries return. Its all up in the air. Whoever hits form in October will be champions

I think he knew he was on his way before then tbh. It was an initial 1 year deal and he squeezed another out of it. If he was smashing it over here, fair enough, but we haven't seen anything consistent. He reminds me of an error prone Richie Mathers at the moment.

Rovers were a better side this weekend with the return of James Green and Adam Walker. Missed those blokes in the middle of the park. Would be good to have Tilse and Lunt back soon too.

Still not sure on the Terry Campese injury, going for other opinions but could be a month or could be 6 months! Disappointing if the latter.

Wire on Friday, minus Anthony England...

great game on friday. reckon i've got a few more people interested in rugby league after that.

Saints looking good with some top players still side lined

Locke tendering his resignation at Salford. Quite a fall from grace that but to resign is quite surprising. I wonder if Salford were in the top 8 he would still be resigning or he's got the Travis Burns about him and felt he was too good for the club.

Great win by Cas last night. Powell must be the best coach in SL. He lost some key players last year, but they just keep on improving. Rumours that Ben Crooks is on his way back to Cas from Aus. I hope that's the case. He has so much potential as a centre and having a good coach at this stage is what will make him into a Test player. If he goes to a club like Wigan (who need a goal kicking centre btw), he needs one bad game and there's a 20 page thread about why he should be sacked/loaned.

Rovers hot and cold season continued last night with a red hot performance against Wire. When we're good, we're really good, but we're really inconsistent!

Albert Kelly though, that man is a freak of nature, along with Maurice Blair. What finds. Blair is arguably our best signing for this year (better than even Campese!).

Bah, Widnes frustrate me. If we had tightened up our defence as much as our attack we could have took Saints. Wouldn't have fancied Leeds in the semi though!

I think the turning point was the steal decision. If they didn't get that there is a chance we could have got another or kept their heads down. Alternatively they might have still scored and took the game. Who knows...
