What are you using to stress?
OCCT will find most instabilities. The bad thing about this platform is programs rarely crash it's just a full hard system crash. If you are right on the edge of stability then these random crashes will occur. It is generally recommended that you find your max overclocks then back off a little.

I find it hard to believe there are so many duff motherboards around.

@eyetrip have you tried with 32gb of ram? Not saying any is faulty it just might not like pushing 64gb despite passing tests. Also when you say stutter, what kind of stutter?

Prime, realbench, tpu memtest

Fair point. Perhaps it's time to try OCCT and HCI...

Peeps with 2 dimms per channel or dual rank RAM, should find 9945 more forgiving as PMU FW aka IMC is tuned more towards that usage case.

3466 C16 at stock CPU with 16GB 3200 C14 Ripjaws V on a C6H 1401 bios boots and tests OK.

At CPU overclocks and >16GB it may be a bit more problematic. I have not gone that far. However 3333MHz c14 is stable and that is my default settings ATM.

9943, 1401, 1403 and 1403-SP42M I'm running 3333MHz C14 1T tight subtimings on F4-3200C14D-16GTZ at 1.375V with 1.05V SOC with 3.8GHz on R7 1700.

HCI Memtest will pass ~6hrs+ with 1V SOC, but IBT AVX custom 13312MB requires 1.05V for pass.

Gavin might not be world champion but at least his posts are dignified. You react to things like Donald Trump. This isn't the only time you've got snappy when someone questions you.
Well in fairness Gavin wasn't questioning anything he was trashtalking 8pack and his branded RAM.

Driver booster found a driver for the usb 3 card reader. so have installed, restarted, and just did a quick test, and no mouse cursor pausing when reading the photos.

Don't know if it was driver or restart, but will keep doing tests over the days to come.

I had never seen this pause previously. But also remembered just now that the latest 1403 BIOS had some USB3 related updates.

I'm still weary of stability testing again - though did do half an hour AIDA CPU/FPU/Cache and no issues showed up there.

I was questioning his outlandish claims that his memory can get anyone running with 3466. Which, is a lie. Some CPU's are just incapable no matter the board or kit.

Just booted into Windows @ 3466 but needed to drop the timings to c16, all other sub timings are the same as I was running with 3333c14. Volts are the same 1.4 Ram and 1.1 SOC. What tests would you like me to run?

Questioning the validity of the claims isn't trash talking. If there is any truth that not everyone is achieving claimed figures then he's allowed to comment.

Tick the avx box on OCCT, that will really push it. And make sure HCI is running 16 instances, assuming you're using the 1700.

So 16 instances at 1024 mb in each? Task mgr states 100% RAM used so guessing that's cool.

Testing now, 3333 14/14/14/32 1T. 1.42v / 1.185v.

What coverage am I looking for?

I used 15 instances of 850mb and 1 of all unused. There is no magical number but I'd say over 2000% is solid. It isn't quick though.

Cheers. Is it usual to have some instances lag? I have two of 16 going extremely slowly (0.2% vs. 70-80 on the others)

I can boot 3466 and run a benchmark, but i'm not stable.

I've managed to get my Vcore down to (100% load) 1.412v-1.450v (light load/idle) using LLC3, very happy with that for 4.050Ghz.
