For those asking about eSIM, with EE when I moved from iPhone to iPhone it moved it across as part of the setup but in the past I’ve just followed the steps in their app, grab the QR code and wait for the activation code via sms. It’s a bit buggy in the app but if you go to the website and do the new device activation it’s straight forward.

usually they have pre-orders up on the Friday following the event and the next Friday they should be shipping. Could be different depending on the model and other factors.
