It's an offer that we're running at my work. Have been eyeing one up for years but at £600 i've never been able to justify the price, thinking that it can't possibly be worth that price.

I'd be all over that if you already have Sonos. I bought mine in a fit of rage, otherwise I'd never dream of spending £600 on one! No regrets though, it sounds really good in my bedroom. It sounds only second to the Play 5 Gen 2 IMO, plus doubling up as a soundbar for a TV makes it very versatile.

Would it be a stretch to hope for them to bring back the 2x Play:1 starter set any time? I was going to bite the bullet but may hold out to see if anything pops up for Christmas...

Also if anyone is interested; the "rainforest place" are currently selling pairs of the Flexson desk stands for £18.99 - still not cheap but better than the RRP.
