Grey it's still got a huge amount of optimisation to go through bud, later you can buy parts the better tbh.

CITCON THIS WEEKEND

If anyone wants to meet up I'm going with Sal from PAGAN, drop me a message via trust or on the PAGAN forums. We're mostly OCUKers anyway.. no need to go it alone when you're one of us one of us one of us!

Interesting that you cannot downgrade a particular ship to a different lower value ship, I.e my 350r is valued at $125USD and I can only select ships of a higher value...

Incase anyone is in Manchester around 3pm tomorrow. The Vulcan will be flying over and its one of the last times you will ever see it in the air as it's being retired this year.

It makes a sound like no other plane, google it if you are unsure, amazing!

it is for "upgrades", they are presuming that people don't want to lose value by downgrading... you can melt ships, so if you wanted a lower value ship you would have to melt a ship and then buy the lower value one and end up with money left over on your account... obviously this can mean you would lose LTI in the process, and alpha access

there have been a few low value ships sold with LTI, which some people bought a few of, purely so that they could CCU them later to get bigger ships with LTI

I think I heard Ben say there will be options to downgrade in future (possibly with some restrictions). This is just the first iteration of the system.

I think sidegrades to ships of equal value work too, although I've not tested it yet.

Edit: Just tested side grades to ships of equal value, it works and they are free

Okay, so I always said that when they allowed for more CCU's, I'd upgrade to the 'lancer DUR.. well, I think I hit the wrong button and bought a Connie instead.. Oh how terrible.
