*Official* Star Wars the Old Republic: Guild recruitment

Sorry I forgot to mention a good amount of info in my last post.

I don't mind which faction we pick but I would prefer a PvP server and I am willing to help out in any way I can.

Once we get around 20 provisional names on the list, and we all have agreed what fraction to be etc... you could actually set-up the guild, or at least read up a bit about it before we do, if this interested you.
 
Never played a MMO before but swtor is just too tempting! Can anyone give me a guide or explain the differences between / benefits of PvE, PvP and RP, such as, for example, once you choose PvE can you still experience PvP?

The difference between PvP servers and PvE servers is that on PvP servers as soon as you see someone of the opposition faction you can attack them no matter where they are in the world, whereas on PvE servers you both have to be flagged for PvP to be able to attack each other.

RP stands for Role-Playing and on these servers you get lots of people talking in character in chat and they usually have a more mature group of players.

Remember, you don't need to buy the game if it turns out dodgy.

But starting a OcUK Guild now might get some benefits from the developers or something.

I have a feeling this is going to be BIG and it isn't going to take THAT long before it is out.

So please stick your name down if you're interested, and one of us can start the Guild creation process and do a good professional job of it while we wait for the game :)
 
Just a note regarding this thread.

There is actually an official page on the official website for specifically guild creation, so it will actually be fun sorting it out, and maybe there are things you can select like badges or suits or something that have limited availability, thats why I think it might be a good idea to get this going as soon as possible.

Right we'll be creating the Guild next week sometime, so please sign up as you can leave whenever you like, but I can almost guarantee every Sci-Fi mmorpg will love this, most mmorpg fans in general hopefully!

This is the follow on from Knights of the Old Republic, but it is in mmorpg format, it's worth trying just for that!

Im in, PVP because who wants to see a member of the opposing faction /dance and /spit around in front of you without the ability to blast them in the face. Ganking goes with the territory, in a guild it shouldnt be a major annoyance when you can call on mates to help you out.

RP or not, dont much care.

I'm still willing to set it up, although we will need to decide which side we choose before I can do anything.
 
PvP or PvP-RP - seeing as everyone will be republic with names like Luuke Pieeater and Haans Polo, I'll be going Empire ... and probably call my self Drath Vadre ;)
