Completed my class story and now i'm on Ilum. Killed a lot of Republic players but i haven't died, so i expect my ass to be handed to me at some point in the near future.
ToFN has pvp 24/7
For level 55 that is.
Aroundabout 1-5am you're going to be playing with russians and euro night owls. Often get lots of same faction matches because there's about 20-30 players queuing, mostly republic.
Less asshats in your games at that hour because everyone is there for the PVP and no one is going to bail on a game because they're losing or just there for daily/weekly, they won't find anything if they leave because they're in probably the only matchup available.
Don't take this to mean instant pops, even if there's matches going you might miss out on the wz and have to wait for the chance to get in on the next one. If there's only 1-2 matches worth of players pvping then this could be a 20m wait.

No, unless you plan to pay monthly, the F2P implementation is the worst of its kind
ToFN has a decent population and active PvP scene
Because they want you as a subscriber. Don't see a problem with that.
The free to play implementation really isn't bad - unless you start comparing it with what you did have as a subscriber.
If you've never played before then there is nothing there for you to miss.
The free option gives you the ability to play your class story from 1-50 without paying a penny. Cannot see how that is so terrible.

Well after being subbed since day 1 my time on this game draws to an end (well, 48 days left on my sub) so I am looking to give away all my stuff from 15 toons to anyone that is interested and plays of TOFN. Hope you have a lot of cargo hold / guild bank space

On a slightly off topic note, other than the great generosity of people like DisrupTor75, who it must be said is a top gent and scholar, bonne oeuf through and through, what is the best way of getting better gear? Have been grinding away at Black Hole and Section X, but that seems to be a very slow ass way of getting the currency to get better gear

On the topic side I grinded my gear through hard mode fp's mostly. since the patch a good while back it was a lot easier than it used to be for comms. Grinding the dailies is tedious but good for cash.

I have a Level 55 Juggernaut on ToFN if you need help with anything, and if you're Republic, then you'll be happy to know i don't kill lowbies, i tend to give them 10 seconds to stop attacking me or they die.
meh was going try it again but I got a new phone and cba calling customer services for 3 hours to get the bs authenticator removed.
I might just give the f2p a whirl on ToFN since I think my old chars were on Legion of Lettow.
