What do you mean by extra?

AFAIK, you get charged £5 when you preorder (think of it like a deposit), then when the game is released you'll pay the rest.

IE: Game is £40. On preorder, you pay £5. On release you'll pay £35.

Its not really clear if this is the case though is it atm. if it is and someone buying on release day pays the same £40 total then fair enough, although it'd be better to state that a bit more clearly, but it could be the person buying on release is charged a fiver less which doesn't make any sense from a consumers point of view.

This is me purchasing the collectors edition at game in York:

That's exactly right, had the confirmation through that's the case.

You pay £5 now, and the rest on release day.

I just got the same rigmarole in a shop in South Wales.

£130 quid is very expensive, but if I end up playing it for 5-6 years like I did with WoW then I can justify it to myself (and my wife) more easily.

I pre-ordered through g***.. then as usual wondered why the hell i did that & changed it to jersey boys - got my pre-order code straight away:D would probably still be waiting next year for Game to send me one:P

Although my code did end up in my spam folder..
