*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Now I'm Level 50, I dunno where to start! All I know is I wanna be tanking PvE stuff. Trying to look for a 'So you've just dinged Level 50, where to start?' guide or something lol. In the meantime I'm just going to continue sending Vette on Underworld Trading missions to get myself some of those Mandalorian things to craft purple armor.

Also, I would love some advice on which FPs to start with first. I have only 13,000ish HP, and the only FP I have done is Black Talon at Level 12 as DPS lol.

Character is Tehtarik on EU Frostclaw Empire btw. In a guild atm, but I fancy a more active guild rather than the occasional 'Hey' when someone logs on.

You can run dailies for upgrades to slot table armour. I normally use the LVL 40 PVP armour and upgrade that.

Or you could run some PVP WZ's, as you can still use that armour in operations and flash points.

Is it ok to reuse Orange gear (even low levelled) and whack in some item enhancements to bring it up to gear so I can tank FPs with them? That way I'm farming Daily Commendations instead to improve my current gear rather than farm actual gear themselves to do HMs. Then I guess the next step would be farming HM gear itself for Operations? Luckily I have always kept my Orange gear in my bank and never deleted them.

Orange gear is fine. Just keep modding it to keep it current.

Problem is for the end game gear (PvP or PvE) is you can't strip the armouring/set bonus for them yet (coming in 1.2) - so Orange gear will never be as good for now.

Start doing daily's to by armouring/hilts and get enhancement/mods to up the gear as much as you can - along with doing HM FP's / Normal Ops for Columi gear.

Once you have some Columi you can start on HM Ops :)

This could be pretty good, the most annoying thing about it previously was that even the most unskilled players could hold a point by simply being annoying at the turret, die, then fly back before they cap and repeat the process over and over. While slowly, every so slowly wearing down the other team who are trying to cap through the endless spawning riders.

I'm not sure what it's like NOW though.

And were able to DOT you before dying, making it even more of an issue when trying to cap. :)
 
Cancelled my sub the other day, after having got to level 50 I've not had the urge to play at all. The game just hasn't inspired me, the low server population did not help things, not being able to get a group for anything is pretty rubbish and entering warzones as a fresh 50 sucks pretty hard, you just get absolutely destroyed whilst doing no damage to anyone else, really quite off-putting.

Unfortunately the only solution for low population is to reroll on another server.

In the next major patch coming in 2-3 weeks you can buy level 50 PvP gear direct from the vendor using credits, and is actually better than the current tier 1 and tier 2 sets.
