Just started this after watching some clone wars earlier. For someone who's never played an mmo before it's really odd controls. Went for a Human smuggler.

One of the best classes and stories I thought, they got a nice buff recently which caused a lot of unhappy peeps in PvP

Sadly haven't played in a while, but I like to pop in now and then.

I stopped playing it, got bored.

Started playing it again yesterday as i miss my Juggernaut tank. I also tweaked the graphics in the client.ini and graphics.ini files, and also in Nvidia Inspector - looks great.

It appears to be more rife in SWTOR compared to LotRO and SWG (the only MMO's i've PvP'd in).

SWGEmu is definitely where it is at now though for your Star Wars MMO fixes!

Confirms my idea that SWTOR's FTP model is gambling. And technically illegal as minors can take part.

I moved from ToFN last December, and I haven't done ranked warzones, currently grinding PvE basic commendations gear and i'm halfway with my PvP gear doing regulars.

The gambling event: Spent around 15mil on the slot machines, 150 odd golden certificates, 7 magnus mounts and 1 rancor. Took me from Thursday-Sunday to get the rancor mount.

a guildie got the rancor and one of the other mounts after 48k spent...another is at 3m and still trying.

Me, I used the free tokens, got nothing then left

Red Eclipse is a good server, decent population and pretty active. There are still people doing ranked pvp though queues can be a bit long.
GSF is very active too - which is my preferred PvP game these days
