*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

I made a character to check it out logged on 3 different times on the sith fleet, 2 of the 3 times tofn had more on line, and both times by a big difference.

so i don't know about the other server having more not that it really matters as one is a pvp and one is teddy bear server, so its what suits i guess.

Oh you are talking about PvP servers? No, not interested.
I love the "risk" involved where you can be killed by other people, it is what made UO so amazing in those early days.
However SWTOR just had groups of Lvl50 and then 55 marching around the lower level planets slaughtering everyone.
There is PvP and then there is that - the reason I will never play on a dedicated PvP server with this game.

Not to mention having the freedom to choose as of when you want to flag yourself, and i see plenty of flagged people on TRE, myself included when the mood strikes me. The fact that i can level and enjoy PvE content in some peace whenever the mood strikes me was a big factor in me moving from ToFN to TRE, and the PvP on TRE is really good with regular PvP events occurring.

Population; Things may have changed since the last time i was on ToFN, but it wasn't long ago there was a thread made on the ToFN forums asking for guilds from both sides to boost the population of PvP on the server, due to people either quitting or transferring to other servers, such as the Harbinger and POT5 - which people are still doing.

TRE is the second biggest European server, the top one i think is a German server.

why is it that some players and npcs are wearing purple tops, its as if they are not loaded properly. I have fully downloaded the game aswell.

Lol why is it every time I ask that question I get a sarcastic and unhelpful remark. Someone in game yesterday said that star trek took all the rights for the red and yellow shirts!

Re-subbed and pre-ordered, I hadn't played since before galactic strongholds, and it's a damn sight better than I was expecting :)

Hell of a money sink though :(

I downloaded the free one last night. Is it worth getting a CD key for it for around £3 ? Does it make any difference.

Sounds like its reasonably fun these days.

Looks like I need to get back on board. Half way through the IA and JK stories at the mo. Might reroll IA as I can't remember anything about the plot.

I've not played for at least 6 months and not played from scratch for at least 12. Am I likely to notice much of a change?

Yes.

Also for returning players who are on The Red Eclipse without a guild.

Fluffier (REP) and Fluffy (IMP) Bunnies are recruiting new members. We are a newly founded guild with an active member base. We have the usual XP and Rep bonus as well as a Guildship and stronghold. We have experienced members for both PvE endgame content and PvP content, and we are happy to help and guide new or old players.

We are currently looking for more players to form our PvE and PvP groups. And for players that want to join us for conquest. We also welcome any and all socials that just want to hang out and feel like a bunny.

Feel free to visit us at our website: http://fluffybunn.enjin.com/

Contact Hatheus, Drec'mauler, Ainlala or Hiie in game.

PS: Fluffier Bunnies is very much a work in progress guild due to our mains being on the Sith Empire faction, so if you fancy joining Fluffier Bunnies, please let us know via our website forum or contact the relevant people in game on their Empire characters.

I can invite as well, and my character name is Wescar.

Please don't ask me about the name, i queried it before i joined, but it seems to have given us a load of members since it was created over a month ago.

think i'll have to join tonight.

been looking for a good guild to join.

Great guild with nice people, friendly and helpful and will answer even the noobiest of questions politely and helpfully.

Loving my time back in the game, i even bought the pre-order of the expansion, mainly because i wanted to level my Sith Sorc to 55 asap so i could actively participate in endgame content, also it means i get to play through the game at a slower pace on other toons to keep me from burning out on pure endgame content.

I love me some crafting so i want to level up enough toons to cap to get all the crafting professions mastered etc :)
