*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Which realm should I roll on to be on yours?

As Wes said The Red Eclipse.

dürkadurka or dirka - will be on with mostly these, my last two for lvl 55.

just remember the two little dots on top of the first u

Do you only play Empire? Kinds fancied Jedi first but I intend to play both do could do Sith.

We have a guild for Rep but we don't play as much. I think Imps are so much better.

Jedi are too patriotic and their gear looks crap compared to the Sith Empire.

I also think the starting planets are so much better than Rep too. That's just me though :)

Had a productive weekend, the missus was out with her work mates on Friday night, I was playing dutiful taxi driver. Obviously I got important things done between returning home at half five to picking her up at half one. Important things like finishing the IA prologue again.

Enjoying it more this time round than I did the first, maybe because I'm a bit more savvy in what I'm doing, also the 200k purloined from my other account as a "start up fund" probably helped.

I forgot how much I liked the voice acting for the IA, since I'm towing the darkside/self interest line it fits perfectly. Having said that I did have a moment whilst physically accosting some chap when I realised I was really enjoying playing the role of what is effectively a high ranking member of the SS. What does that say about me?

The problem for me is I won't play it enough to subscribe which means all the crafted weapons, armour and goodies on all my characters can't be used. I don't think I have enough credits to buy new items plus they won't be as good :(

I think there is a cartel item that gives you authority to equip and use them but no idea how much it costs for an account wide version. Shame really because I do miss playing through each classes story mode.

Out of interest, what do people tend to use their cartel coins for? I purchased rocket boost and some xp boosts but other than that I'm not sure what to do with them. Is the general preference to purchase items to sell on?

Initially I started trying to unlock features for when I reverted to F2P, but in the end I realised the game was just painful without subscribing, and the price of account-wide unlocks is ridiculous. If I want to play, I sub, and just spend the coins on bundles.

I just use in-game credits for all the unlocks. When I knew I'd be dropping from subscriber to preferred for a few months I spent the time buying all the unlocks - my characters did have around 80m credits across them, so it was "drop in the ocean" I guess.
The only think which is a pain with preferred is the credit limit. I can see why they did it, but a pain never the less.
I'm subscribed again now, but unlocks remain for if I drop down again.

I don't think I'd play without a sub to be honest, but looking at what's on offer on the market I'm not exactly inspired to part with the credits. But having said that, what's the point of hanging on to them?

Can anyone tell me how many Cartel coins it is to have account wide authorisation to equip and use gear please ? or is there a way to view the store from a webpage ?

Think this game F2P model is pretty crappy (nothing like the rift one) so best if you enjoy the game to pay the sub, in London it's not even the cost of 2 pints.

You know I half agree with you, only issue I have is that the empire are all pretty stupid, the way thing work no one would ever be empire.

Though we are now a full empire guild I still sneakly prefer the Republic side.

This game has definitely got a second wind we already close to 150 players in the guild, yeah while a few are old players who re joined once we came back loads are new. I for one am very surprised how quickly we have grown. What is nice is quite a few empires remembers us as republic :o
