Ive always thought he was a bit suspect - and after his mental breakdown after the .....Birmingham? game season before last , I thought even less of him as a player

I know he is relatively cheap, but Im still surprised Spurs are so interested in him

I just caught a story about that. It does seem a shame, I saw him turn out for roma a couple of times (no way to judge a player really) and he did look decent. I've only seem once for the pool i think and he wasn't really in the game.

What do the other 'pool fans think about this?

Not a 'pool fan, but he looks unbelievably lightweight and a bit ****. Not a great way to spend 20m certainly...

Aye, possibly ... Did he actually get a run in the side last year? He's always going to be a bit light on the ball really, which can make playing wide tough, never mind the middle. From what I saw of the guy in the couple of roma games he did look decent ... I just wonder why now with the squad the way it is does woy decide to speak out, is aqua struggling for fitness? I dont think he made it into the Italy wc squad

Getting sick of this now. We're skint yet we're throwing away money left, right and centre. Loaning Aquilani, who was fantastic at the end of last season, would be yet another appalling decision to add to the list of ever increasing appalling decisions.

What happened to the "Now he's our manager I'll back him" attitude you took when Hodgson was formally announced? All the posts I've seen from you since have been against him, and yet he's had all of four proper games to provide any kind of response. Four games which, by the way, he hasn't lost in.

Where did I mention Hodgson? I questioned the decisions we were making in the transfer market the other day and that apparently meant I wanted him out :o
