Disagree with that, always thought Konchesky was useful. Never going to do anything magical, but is a solid defender and can get forward.

Yup, I think if he had been at a bigger team recently he probably would have been called up (again) for England. He's consistent, anyway.

I fully agree that Bridge is a superior player to Konchesky. Konchesky is more like Alan Wright used to be. Steady, but not particularly good.

Kizanishvili has moved on loan again, wish we'd have moved for him, he looked class in the short time he was with us.

Wayne Bridge is shocking. I've seen him getting raped off wingers on numerous occasions last season. Really deteriorated over the last couple of seasons.

Why doesn't Pulis play Tuncay, he's the best player at the club!

Nope. But that's the illusion he manages to give off, watch him in a full game and he loses the ball with 50% of his dribbles, runs around a lot pointlessly to make it look like he's doing something and misses chances left right and centre when he does get in the right place.

That and he doesn't get on with Fuller/anybody.

Having said that, I wouldn't be too upset if he stays. :p

Played a different role from Big Mama (i.e. not just standing still failing at headers) so it depended on the game. He's a decent winger which is where we've played a few times but now Walters is doing a considerably better job in the same positions.

It'd be interesting to see if a Jones/Tuncay front line would work!

When you only create opportunities through the handful of throw-ins you get every game, you can't be doing with a player who doesn't push his way in and nudge the ball over the line with his shin/head/random appendage. \o/
