For the record in the Euro's, Xavi started 5 games, got 1 assist, 1 goal.
Iniesta played 6 games, got 2 assists.
Fabregas started 2 games, was a sub in 4(so played in one more game than Xavi, got 1 goal and 4 assists. Thats the same assists, and goals as both Xavi and Iniesta together, in LESS time on the pitch.
You will also see that the vast majority of the goals scored were with Fabregas on the pitch, with several very mediocre first halfs completely turned around by Fabregas's introduction.
He was BY FAR the best player in that team in the Euro's, and only seems to not start as there is a very heavy bias towards those who play in Spain getting preferential treatment. Alonso wasn't close to a to a starter in the Euro's when he was with Liverpool, he started I believe the final group(pointless game) and was a late sub in the other games, yet since moving to Real is almost a certain starter.
And if my Aunty had balls she'd be my Uncle.
You know as well as I do that he is behind the three I mentioned in the Spanish first 11 and it didn't seem to do Alonso any harm when he wasn't based in Spain.
In short, do one Statto.
