fusion can't you do 4.8ghz? seems good at 4.7ghz

@kap its hard to resist new stuff sometimes,but agree it wouldn't give me anything other than faster ram speeds maybe

You do have a really nice clocking chip wazza. You should send it my way if you decide to go for haswell :p

It should be able to, I run it day to day at 4.5 Ghz, but I just quickly overclocked it higher using the Asus Turbo V software on the motheboard because I was too lazy to do it in the BIOS :)
I was also probably using too high voltage for 4.7, as Tonester (previous owner) said it needed 1.27v for 4.7 and 1.35v for 4.8. He said he needed 1.44v for 4.9, so beyond 4.8 it starts needed pretty steep voltage hikes to go higher.
 
just for comparison,and idk what memory speed stulid used but ivybridge and 2133mhz ram isn't far off @4.8ghz
