I know the feeling,i have a pants 2600k compared to some folks on here

this 3700k chip isn't too bad tbh,last good chip I had was my 920 d0,that was simply golden

I did some efficiency testing with this setup last night at 5ghz.







I achieved 7-11-7-25 1T 2700mhz TRFC 88 Latency boundary 1 Seconds 4-88-Auto-10-4-24-5-8 with 2.00v and DIMMS at -55. The CPU was at -20 only did not really need LN2 on CPU but i put the pot on to protect the CPU from the cold of the RAM and condensation on the board.

Will do a run at the end of the week with CPU at 6.7+ and show the results. Ran out of LN2 last night to go higher on RAM. This may be possible also as I ran 32mb twice with these settings.

I have the Corsair kits here and an unbelievable IMC for clocking so will show some efficiency on that too at 5ghz for 32mb on air.

Which Corsair kits are you using.
 
The 7-11-7 is PSC G.SKILL.

The Corsair Dominator ones I have here are 2666C10 Samsung and 2800C12 Hynix.

Jake from Corsair sent them to me both are quad channel qualified kits. I will test on LN2 also later. Air first.

It will be good to see how high they can go, my 2400mhz kit can do 2600mhz 10-12-12-25 1T 110 @1.65v

Sadly after that my 3930k IMC has nothing left in the tank.
