Get it fully upgraded and max out your pilot and reload and it really in monstrously good fun(think mine currently reloads it's cannon in 10 or 12secs) Can easily hold it's own with much higher ranked aircraft :D

Agree entirely. The 1b is incredibly vicious for its' BR, and if flown well you can devastate with it.

My finest moment with the 1b was flying into a melee over 1 of our bases on a domination match, with 5 enemies and 2 of our team, thinking that I may be able to take down 1 or 2 of theirs, prevent them from capping until re-enforcements arrived.

So I dived in, and one good burst took down the first. A quick turn, another flew across my face, my cannons spat and he pretty much disintegrated. Checked my 6 as I turned again, while reloading, seeing the remaining 3 tangling with our 2 other planes still. Got into a good position, and with another dive and turn took down 2 more, while the last one tried to make his getaway. Sadly for him, he was still in range of my last ~100 shells, and so he bit the dust too. :cool:

Don't remember if I got a 'thank you' from any of the 2 guys I saved..... but it felt pretty damn good!
 
iirc the rate of climb on the tiffie is completely broken. Isn't it 20m/s+ ?

I broke my thrustmaster T16000 joystick :( Pulling super hard left rudder to stop my damaged B24 spinning out of control after being tickled by an N1K - SNAP, CRACK! Yaw completely broke and I span into the sea. Took it apart but no luck, its fubared. Can anyone recommend a new stick? I was looking at the X52 + rudder pedals...

2790 ft/min is ~ 14m/s

TBH at a BR of 3.7 it is overpowered for it's opposition anyway. Giving it a quicker rate of climb would make it mental.
 
So who's game for fridy night? D250/D251's etc?

with added h6k4 goodness?

Why don't wt add the mix up toons - any plane you ahve unlocked

Few good and bad things mainly good though.

Good:

New sounds are amazing.The cannons really have a punchy sound to them now.

Hanger is nice as you can see all the other planes in the background.

Preset plane lineup is good idea.


Bad:

They have changed the location of flap/gear notification which is difficult to see while dogfighting.

BR's seem to have stayed the same.


Mostly good though esp the sounds :)
 
Good stuff: The Horten Ho229 gets an arcade battle rating of 6.0

With a top speed of 528MPH, packing twin 30mm cannons, and being shaped like Batman's personal air chariot, it should be good for a laugh! :D

Bad stuff: I'd need to grind out another 4 more German tier 4 planes, before I could start on unlocking it. This makes me a sad panda. :(
