Is there a way I can just copy my files across to my steam folder so this run via steam?

I dont really want to uninstall and download it again via steam.

yes, copy the game folder into steam/steamapps/common and then restart Steam.

When it has restarted find war thunder in the steam store and click play, it should find your game files but it will still download about another gig or so iirc.

comms is built in. even if you are in a different battle all squad members can chat away in game

I think half the problem is that its inconvenient to keep the Sqn chat open, so people miss messages, would have liked to take part

yeah was really easy went into squadron right clicked on the person and invited them to my squad.

add me MrAmbrosius i think u can only add friends on there when they are online though.

Started playing WT based on recommendation

Quick question, looking for advice, what's best airforce to focus on for fighters?
And any good tips for a Noob(ofc join your squadron :-P
