I have both lines and I prefer the ST-1 to the IS8, but the IS7 to the IS4 and the IS3 to the KV4, but they are due more to my playstyle then better tanks.

I guess most of us game a lot over the weekend right? But maybe the ratio of people who are just wanting fast XP goes up disproportionately, so you get more lemmingtrains and scout rushes than normal.

Maybe one way of dealing with fail team rage, is simply to not play as much over weekends? What do you think?

naw there is still plenty of numbskulls during the week as well.
 
I have to say I'm loving my SU-8 tier V arty. It's quite a money maker, I'm more often than not making around 25,000 credits in profit after each game. A stark contrast to my Object 268 which loses around 30,000 per go.

is3 games can be epic - is8 is soft as a paper towel... is 7 bounces like crazy and sides of is4 eat all incoming bullets.
is8 gun is more powerfull than one in is7 - is8 has is4 gun

in general is3 8 and 7 are faster as are assault tanks

only few exp left for me to get is7 :)

is 268 so expensive ? am only on 212 at the moment but am making money on it most of the time - thus premium account might help ?

Yeah I agree, had they pushed around (expecially the IS7) I would not have lasted long. The 704 was left on 10hp after a couple of low damage rolls so meh, again if he had counted the shots and come after me he would have done a lot more damage but he didn't but then he should have died there and then. The game is less and less skill based and more and more based on luck/rolls/damage/0 dmg pen/bounces so this is a very rare instance where luck seemed to be more on my side than theirs, just.
 
Does anyone have any idea how to play the Lorraine 40t? I've just unlocked it after playing through what has become my favourite tank, the 13 90, and it's just a useless POS in comparison. As delicate as driving around in a greenhouse, and turns about as fast, not to mention you're the size of a mansion. Head on fighting doesn't work and it's not manoeuvrable enough to be a good flanker. All I've been limited to is arty protection and very occasionally getting off a few rounds on a distracted tank, even though the stock gun just isn't good enough for tier 10 battles. Hate the thing so far, though it doesn't help that after 16 battles I have a whopping 13% win ratio :o
 
When I played the lorraine I'd snipe for the first 1-2 reloads, and then when (hopefully) half the enemy team is dead, then you go into assassin mode and pick off weakened isolated tanks. Never scout with it, and don't even go to the front line. Your speed is solely for running away when reloading.

Having the right crew skills and equipment is a must. IIRC I had vents, gun laying drive and vertical stabiliser: all to improve the crappy aiming time for sniping.

For skills you NEED 6th sense so you can stay hidden, and I went for smooth ride and snapshot to help with the long aim-time. Everyone got camo as the second skill. Repairs is less important on a tank so fragile.... repair kit if you get tracked because even waiting 5 seconds for your crew to repair them is likely to end in death.
 
Lorraine40t is a bit rubbish. Only way to play it is be a ninja and hide... even if your top tier in your team. Easy to be hit, everything damages you, arty can one shot you, when they hit its gonna be full dmg which really hurts. picking off wounded strays and sniping is your best bet.

Can't comment on the T25/2, but M103 is a good all round heavy at tier 9. I still jump back in mine occasionally.

If you like heavies either get that or the KV4. The VK4502A is not bad, but it's sucessor (VK4502P) is painful to grind, at least I found that.

Loved both the T44 and the Pershing, possibly the Pershing a little more...
 
I like my T25/2 but its probably not for everyone, haven't played it much of
late because well its not a T29 but I think I still have a 71% WR in it or something. Its slower than the T25at, has a leas powerful gun and doesn't have any armour to speak of but I enjoyed it.

VK4502P pre uber pen guns was a decent tank. Angle it (reverse sidescrape especially) and its awesome. Bounces a lot on the sides and has strong frontal armor. Turret is very nice as well.

Not so good in the day and age of 250+ pen guns and premium ammo. Saying that on westfield the other day I managed to bounce an object 268 and IS-8 rather close.

I played the VK4502P before the is8 etc appeared and could not really get on with it then, though it was good at bouncing shots. The gun is the Maus gun and used on both the E75 and on a stock E100 which makes it very good. But I still did not like the tank much. ;)

I am thinking of going for the Pershing or M103,
Already have the IS-8, but its not a nice grind with the BL-9 gun, will finally get the tier 10 gun soon.
Not interested in going the VK4502P/Maus tree, i was just thinking of trying the VK4502A as its like a heavy medium, but the KT has a better gun.
 
Is the prem Churchill III worth buying? as its on half price now.
i have a russian heavy crew at 100% just sitting in my garage.
i already have a prem T34
 
It's a great crew trainer with good mm, but it's nowhere near as good as it used to be. While not doing a lot of damage you used to be able to take quite a bit, now if you expose yourself you seem to get wiped out pretty easily - at least that's how it feels to me.
 
Bought mine this weekend, first ever battle in it below :D

Seems fun and I believe it has a 1.3 xp multiplier built in. obviously with gold derp as it is, you can still get slaughtered by some tanks, and t6 heavies will easily destroy you.
