Seen that a few times, tanks show with small amount of health left but are actually dead. Can be really annoying, but when you recognise it and start telling your team mates to ignore the tank... its even more annoying when they keep at it and die to some other tank blasting away at them (which they ignore since they are too busy trying to get the kill) :p

Saw this on Himmelsdorf. It was a Tiger. Tried to kill it myself then realised it was a bug. It was well away from the action and a lemming train was going on so I decided to try and do something with the Tiger. Tried pushing it. In end I called our arty to see if they could see it on the map. It showed up as live on the arty view and they hit it with a shell and the "dead" tank was thrown by the explosion and inbedded itself into the adjacent house.

Times like this I wish I had replay on.



Also when I had a support call logged for the launcher I asked the support guy when will there be a UK server and he said they get asked this all the time and have requested it to the powers that be. He said they wish there was one too.

How many tanks in your garage now?

I have 3 of the tanks on special, (T20, T-43, Panther) and i just sold my VK3002DB last week, but i saved the crew, might just rebuy it.

70 Tanks in garage now. I enjoy the vast choice I have to play. Wonder if that Panther / M10 is any good, need a german premium tank.
 
I am upto Tier IV on some tanks so I am steadily improving. I think I have USA light and Medium and UK Matilda and of course a couple of German light tanks.
 
Hey all, wouldn't mind signing up for the clan. I'm getting soooo PO'd with random battles and ****** teams.

name is zoombapup in game. Currently hovering around tier 7-8-9 mostly (damn tier 9 is expensive).
 
Actually, while we're at it, I have a question about the game that struck me last night. Hopefully you guys know whats going on.

I was playing a game around midnight and I'd done my daily 2x on all my active tanks. The 2x popped again so I figured I'd have another game in my su152 (trying to unlock the guns so I can get to isu152/bl10 faster). I play the su and then go off to bed when I get the win.

Anyway, on logging into the game this morning, I see that its a 5x weekend. But then I think "wtf, why didnt the 2x last night say 5x instead?" essentially my 2x win in the su should have been 5x surely?

So when exactly do the daily win things reset and how do you make sure you actually get the 5x instead of the 2x? I don't mind so much, but it annoys me when I'm grinding hard to miss out.
 
@zoombapup, the specials start from 5 am, so at the start of a special, dont play a tank u are grinding after midnight. ;)
however the special finishes at 5am Tuesday, so you can get a x5 at 11.55pm Monday, then get another x5 at 00.01 Tuesday morning before it resets to x2 at 5am :D

The 5x starts at 5:30AM but 2x resets at 12. This is why I never do the 2x doubles when I know 3x or 5x is on the next day.
 
Thanks, makes sense. I've spotted it a few times, but never really registered why it was happening.

I'm too disorganized to spot the 5x coming up usually :) so I guess I'll just grind over midnight sunday :)
 
I was reading a thing on the WOT forums about this notion of "weekend warriors" and you know what? its actually true. The players who play WOT over the weekend do tend to be pretty terrible :)

I guess most of us game a lot over the weekend right? But maybe the ratio of people who are just wanting fast XP goes up disproportionately, so you get more lemmingtrains and scout rushes than normal.

Maybe one way of dealing with fail team rage, is simply to not play as much over weekends? What do you think?

Agree totally. The pain starts on Friday night and continues through until Monday. If i can get away with doing a couple of doubles on the tanks I'm grinding - I will, but even that is painful and I have to give up after the 5th straight loss.
 
Slowly grinding my way through the KV-4 reluctantly as I know I cannot use most of the good equipment on the ST-I :(
Has anyone got one? Is it a good tank to play once you get the T9 gun etc, just the tanks shape makes it look like it bounces a lot of shots which is better than the KV-4 currently with its flat-ish front.

Which tank are you talking about? I loved my KV4 and it was extremely bouncy. The ST-1 is even more so however and I still have one in my garage.

Referring to the ST-I sorry forgot both tanks get T9 guns! Sounds alright if you still have a ST-I in the garage, couldn't have been too terrible a tank then.

Just wondering if I am going to regret not going down the IS3->IS8 etc route after spending 200k exp on the tank and better gun haha :P
