Anyone got the T26E4?
Its on offer this weekend and i am tempted to buy one,
just wondering what the owners impressions were, i know its slow with bad pen, but i have a load of gold rounds saved up form an old special and they will work on the SP.
 
I have it but much prefer the JagdTiger 88. Earnings on the Super Pershing are OK but nowhere near what i make on the TD. It's too big, slow and everyone knows it's weak spots so the spaced armour is only reliable against newbies really. They're annoying to fight but (to me at least) feel horrible when driving them

JT88 might also be slow too but has more reliable armor as long as you cover the lower front plate, same damage but better penetration and insane accuracy and rate of fire. By the time those big tanks have reloaded to shoot at you you've already put 3 in them and usually bounce theirs :p

It was good until people knew its weakspots, it's not great if someone knows your weakspots because they'll just pick away at your health.

I like mine, you need to treat it as a heavy, it's slow!, with the spaced armor on the hull and turret makes the front very solid, as long as you keep everything in front of you, it can take a lot of hits, I average around 45k-55k per match and I think the most I have seen is around 70k :).

Su122-44 is the best premium at the moment IMO credit making is good ( have had a few 100k plus games) although it has crap xp multiplier but that doesn't really matter on a premium tank, I also enjoy the pzivs Churchill iii and of course the b2, I have a jt88 but would rather play the such or my type if it has to be tier 8.

Gold ammo everywhere.

They spend the first 18months balancing the game. HTs do HT things, meds do med things etc. So My E100 should be the tank that breaks through lines. Meds/TDs can follow up and protect my rear.

Gold ammo - suddenly HT armour becomes 40% thinner - if you pay for gold ammo with credits. My HT now becomes a slow med and the balance goes out of the window.

When a t8 med can pen the front of my T110E4 you know that something is wrong.

There is nothing wrong with a med and a TD having the same DPM, but the TD should be able to pen the front, the med should have to flank. That is why TDs are slow, meds are nimble.

There are lots of people that spent months grinding T10 HTs only to have them made suddenly very much weaker.

That's what people mean by 'broken' :-)

Its pretty good. I treat mine like a heavy as its to slow to be a medium. It has weak pen gun but is pretty fast firing and accurate so you can hit the weak spots on the others, just got to keep the turret moving so nobody gets a good shot at your weak spots on the turret.

Its a fun tank, i tend to hang next to a heavy and hit the enemy when they are targeting our heavy and its pretty good at soaking up some damage when it needs to.

I like it but i dont make as much money with it as i do with my T34. Should suit your play style i think J.Col.

Thanks it1uk, i have a T34 so i may not bother, regarding play style, i do have a nasty habit of going too far, i am far too impetuous for my own good, i must learn to be patient, but i get bored too quickly ;):p

Fantastic gun on T34, many a time I popped out on the unsuspecting and then booooommm!!, though the wafer thin hull is a lot to be desired, I recently purchased an IS-6, I love this tank, crap gun at long range, but it's a real brawler, I'm consistently getting Steel Wall when I use it :D.
 
having no luck last few days..more lost games than won :(
I had few great matches now and then...made over 100k of silver with leopard - patrol duty, scout and master tanker.
and one or two with Comet - God I hate that tank...


are you guys preparing for Tournament for the weekend ?
max tier is 4.
Teams of 14 and 6 in reserve.
I wonder if I get my clan to be online this weekend ;) if not then kick kick kick ;)
 
I assume its 14 including up to 6 reserves, otherwise there will be a lot of tier 1s in there as filler.

8 B2s, 2 SU26s and a Bison :D
