Anyone up for some platoons tonight? I'm stick of **** teams all the time. I'll be using my Obj. 704 and I'll be on from 18:00.

Yeah I know you can convert gold to XP/Silver, but I mean the other way around, as in convert silver to gold. The option is there but the number is unchangeable
The option isn't there it is just the way that it's laid out makes it look that way. When you click convert the number is staying at 0 as you have no gold.

I'm getting really frustrated playing with randomers. All they care about is upping their kill count, when it's CAPPING that earns the most points.
The amount of times there've been, say, 4 on my team left alive, and one on the opposittion, and instead of going for the base, they spend ages trawling the map for the last survivor
I've been getting quite good with the SturmPanzer II SPG, but not having anyone stay back to cover me is also another thing that's grinding my gears.

no it is damage that earns you the most xp and credits (capping earns you a little xp but no credits apart from the win bonus which you would get from killing all also), i agree that when there is only 1 or 2 left and they are hiding then cap but if you have steam rolled a team and are at a big advantage and you have the rest of the enemies engaged then finish them of rather than cap.
if you are in a small tank that cant really damage the enemies left then sit near the cap and jump in when they are near to finishing them so you get some cap points as well as the extra from the damage they are doing, if you time it right you can still get an invader medal and win by killing all
everyone in the team gets a share of the xp pool for damage caused to the enemy team where only the cappers get any xp for capping.
and even at higher tiers in randoms scouts slip through because hardly anyone is willing to defend key areas against them.

I only play random battles by the way, it's only in tank company and platoon battles that XP is pooled amongst the winning team.
no it is every battle, that is the reason you get hardly any xp for a quick capping game.
you will get more xp for getting killed early in a hard fought win then you will getting 100% of the cap with a rush game. i have rush capped Komarin in my Maus and got invader and earned less than 300 xp, hence the reason i wont do that again.
we all only play random battles in the ocuk clan, we don't do clan wars and hardly ever do company battles btw.

Why is this? There is always enough online in the clan during an evening for this to be good fun.

The reason being is there isnt anyone around who really wants to organise it and run with it. a lot of us are working professionals, i know i am. I bank rolled the founding of the guild and am happy to pay for the Logo if someone comes up with something we all want.
Unfortunatley i am unable to spend the time to run clanwars. The matches when it first started were at silly times, ie 6pm and such when i know a fair few of us are still at work or commuting home.
I am happy to promote within the clan people who want to run such events.
If you know of people who stand out in the guild and want to run such events please do let me know, we can put it to vote and take it from there
More than happy to have additional commanders and such who want to run these events for you guys, afterall it benefits you and may bring more people into the clan, although we can only have a maximum of 100 memebers
a recent clear our was carried out by the sub commanders.
