Well the way the game treated me over the Christmas period I knew I wouldn't be lucky, my loot from 11 boxes is 3 days of premium, inscription and 4000 gold which is all below what I would have paid for separately. Humbug Christmas from WG it is!

No it has not. They have improved it so that you aren't the only bottom tier tank in a game now, and one team should no longer get a vast amount of TDs while the other gets heavies. You still get the same retarded team vs a team of lettuces for example relatively often.
 
At least after half a decade, they have programmed the MM so it can distinguish that a T57 Heavy is not the same type of heavy tank as E-100. That and the 3-5-7 tier spread but yeah they also broken T8 MM as a result. Saying that I also don't recall many games I've had as top tier in T6 tanks, that's probably to do with fewer lower tier players and lack of new arrivals into the game since T4 and below is an absolute cluster****. If I came into that as a new player now, I'm not sure I would have stuck around to get to higher tiers.

Also had 3 Chinese loot boxes gifted to me and....got a Skorpion G so guess it kinda balanced out the poor 11 boxes earlier, even if it would be my last choice of T8 prizes!
 
Well I played 2 games. First game, team decide to pretty much suicide. Business as usual :confused: 2nd game thought id try out the Maus. I guess auto pen on that angled is still a thing :rolleyes:

I'm assuming armour still means nothing in this game, just pick whichever tank has uber pen on premium ammo?
 
Best armour in this game involves not getting hit in the current meta, that's why I largely stay away from anything heavy and slow at the moment.
 
I was doing quite well in heavies until about an hour ago, but now pretty much everyone is spamming premium ammo from the start. Like countdown timers ends, press 2 key and don't even try to use standard ammunition. Can't be bothered now.
