Lols. I'd heard bad things about the Lorraine, so I skipped it. So sue me! :D

You'll be pleased to know I'm well on my way to the T92 and T95 now, a few more weeks of casual grinding should see me there. Than maybe onto the Maus and the T54 after that.

Then I'm not sure what to grind...maybe the T8 french arty....

That was exactly the excuse Link gave :D

French TD line seems interesting. The fire rate on the T9 TD is insane. Though atm I'm on the T3 TD which is like the Marder IIs inbred cousin twice removed.
 
I found the last engine on the lorraine made enough of a difference to be worth it. Also 100mm transforms the tank imo, you can actually kill T8 tanks in one clip. With the long 90mm you need luck on your side for all of them to pen / not bounce. The extra pen is very useful as well.

Skip the grind certainly. Though I would rather have the Batchat too so I can avoid having to pay even more for it when its changed to T10.

And thinking about it... with the change to the tech tree, that will make the Lorraine a T9 Med which will make it useless to keep. Its too high for T8 TC and too low for T10 TC.
 
Just got this game , am finding myself always feeling 1 step behind. When i was in t1 tanks it was t2 killing me now im in a t3 im stuck with t4/5s that one shot me. I am not a premium account is there a newbie guide anywhere thats worth reading ?
 
Then when you hit T10, its T8 arty killing you, so you still can't win :p

So you go T8 arty, then its T5 scouts killing you...

Not particularly impressed with the JgPz E-100. Same stupid weakspot as the E-100 since it has the same hull, with the added bonus of you having no alternative to pointing your front at the enemy. The LFP offers basically no resistance against the higher tier guns with there very high penetration values.

Coupled with the fact its so big and slow that arty would struggle to miss you once you've spotted from the other end of the map and the fact a zero damage track shot is even more devastating when you have a 21s reload and you have a pretty poor tank from my experience so far.
 
I only played a couple of games in the new T110E4 TD last night, have to say it's quick enough, has decent turret armour at the front and packs quite a punch from the 155mm gun. Got at least a couple of 900+ hits with it and the reload didnt seem too bad. At least I didnt get any 0 damage pens with it, well at least not in about a dozen shots!
 
Yeah the T110s seemed a lot better than the JE-100 when I've played against them. Much more mobile. The JE-100 is just gonna get screwed over by artillery the moment it gets spotted. Maybe its just the amount of gold ammo used on the test server.

Either way, at 6.1mil a T10, its gonna be a long time till I can even afford one.
 
Yeah, if the JE-100 is based on the E100 chasis then its front armour is next to useless now with the higher pen guns floating around, and unlike the E100 you can't easily angle the hull or turret to attempt to bounce some shots as you wouldn't be able to return fire very easily. The gun looks immense though, 170mm of ~1200 damage can potentially one shot a lot of things assuming you don't get 0 damage tracks! It's pratically a SPG in TD mode. Imagine two of them working together, thats a Maus dead in 1 second and 2 shots :)

By the way, buying the AMX 12t back now will net you a new garage slot and free tank when 7.5 arrives. You can then sell them back for a bit of a profit as it will be in a higher tier I believe.
