Good old El Halluf :D me, Thomas_the_tank_engine & few other tanks found the perfect side scraping angle and fended off a horde of tanks this was the result

during installation, iirc at the end, it will ask you to navigate to the %appdata% folder on your C:\ drive\Users\your account name\AppData\Roaming\Wot statistics (u have to show hidden files/folders in folder options in windows explorer)
just select User XML abd that should be it.
if not then read below.

A: Possible causes can be that when you installed the app the security on the pc didn't allow the folder creation in the application folder.

Check the if the following file exists. "%appdata%\WOT Statistics\User.xml". If this file doesn't exists, create the folder. Then from the installation folder copy the users.xml file into the folder. Also create a new folder within and call it "Temp".

Should the "%appdata%\WOT Statistics\User.xml" file exists please run the "WOTStats.Reset.exe" file from the installation folder to reset the user.xml file, as the user.xml file could have been corrupted/.

basically it reads the WOT Statistics\User.xml file, which has all the stats stored in it for wargaming.

Useful little stat app. Thanks again for pointing me to it.

My top five highest effeciency tanks were a surprise...AMX 40 at No. 1 with 2641...lol...might buy it again and load it up with my 300% crew and prem ammo.

I like El Halluf so much more than I used to now. Much better map. I see you were in an E75, I love mine too, brilliant tank.

Half my team went full noob and died the enemy had Lowe, type 59 and m103 & 3 arty vs our 4 arty, the lor 155 played scout we kicked ass! 11 kills between use :)

Ive finally managed to get my IS8 & Lorraine40t with the half price tier IX!!

Pretty much spent up now, I had about 60,000 credits left and as I've been losing quite a few of my last games, I now seem to have half that!

Do the majority of people here always play with premium accounts? I cant see how Im ever going to be able to afford the upgraded guns, tracks etc without paying for a premium account. Are there other ways to get gold apart from buying it? :confused:
 
I use to always play with premium account then stopped for 2 months, I'm now back on premium its much easier getting credits without having to use my type 59 to grind credits

I dont have a type59. The only way I can be sure to earn credits is through my SU14, the damn thing is sooooo slow I get bored of using it afer a few games.

Getting credits with high tier tanks is hard if your are not on premium best thing to do is buy a tier 5/6 money maker like a Stug 3, you can check the after match report to see how much you would earn with premium.

I have played with premium quite a lot over the last couple of months. As you say its so difficult without it I dont think I'd ever have a chance to get to tier IX :o

I do have a stug III but I get punished..... a lot. It seems to put me at the lower end of the food chain most games. I think it's time to change my playing style!

I see the british tree is out. When was that and are they any good? May have to make a return to check them out :)

I hope my crossfire issue is fixed as well, didnt want to work when 8.0 came out (though I only played a few games)

I actually did some research and managed to fix it. I created custom profiles for each exe (wot, launcher + xvm) and selected afr mode for crossfire. Does actually work now although there is a lot of flickering. Tends to go away after about 5 minutes of play. Apparently there isnt an application profile for 8.0 + which is why it wasnt working.

The general opinion seems to be they are like playing French tanks but without having their auto-loader so no redeeming feature. There are 1 or 2 good tanks that stand out but overall fairly below average until higher tiers :(
 
I've played a few games in the Crusader (t6 med). I fully upgraded it straight away with free xp. Seems like a decent tank. Managing 800 + average xp even while a little rush. Quite nippy.
 
Nothing wrong with most of the British tanks I have played to be honest, Crusader and Covenanter are both good to play and apparently the tier 6 is even better and the mediums are pretty good as a whole. Heavy line has fewer advocates.

And if you get frustrated you can just troll people in the KV2
 
Getting annoyed with the original Churchill. If I am up against KV1's they all bounce off I have no chance. Yet when I am in the KV1 the Churchills cause me damage.

Please don't make nasty threats like this.

In all seriousness, the mediums seem decent enough and fun (only played up to tier 5 though), not played with the heavies much.

My new favourite tank is the M6, it's a beast when in against other T6 tanks - looking forward to the ubber beast that is the T29.
