** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

If people are up for forming another Guild (as is the feeling talking to people)

Alliance on Defias? (Robbo :p)

I know quite a lot of people on Frostmane so I don't think I'll be leaving there.

However, they have all the cross-realm groups and such now so it's not such a big issue where people are.

How many people? :p What's the Alliance like on there?

At the moment I have a hefty work load and with games like ME3 being released my gaming time is divided between a variety of games. :p

Pretty simple.

Like before, if you're not active enough (as other have mentioned) then you're leaving the Guild to stagnate.

People have said they don't want this and due to the lack of control and members willing to put up with an inactive GM the guild has plateau'd in terms of social and playing.

We've started an Alliance guild for people to roll in.

As an officer you had permissions to promote and demote as needed. I also advised if you wanted anything altering in the setup let me know and there would be no issue in me updating things as needed.

Also, you said that you'd do this in the email, myself and a group of active players needed a change in the management and you were unwilling to do so, for the good of the community. Had under whatever circumstances I being unable to be a good GM I'd have passed it back to yourself or another willing and good candidate.

I'm still unsure as to why you claimed I'd 'pestered' and 'insulted' you, that was a personal blow and I'm not really interested in discussing this further.

I'm not the only member of the community that asked for these changes.

Time to climb down off your high-horse then and let someone else take the reins of the guild leadership. Simple as that.

Indeed.

So the most active officer in Bans was demoted.
Makes perfect sense.. Not that anyone who was interested in joining had enough trouble finding someone online who was able to invite them as it was.
Oh wait...

I know, fantastic logic. Stagnant and dying guild most active member trying to keep the Guild going demoted.

Don't think it matters what server/guild the scroll giver is in, the server transfer part is optional by the looks of it.

Edit: Cheers Tummy :)

Hey dude, just sent out the email!

Sorry about the delay ran in to the Queen :)

I can't believe it!!

Soon after i roll a horde character on Defias, you move to Frostmane alliance!

Ah well, all of my main chars are already on Frostmane alliance side :p

Just means that i need to pick something new to level, and i then get a choice of charcacters at high level ;)

From the top of my head,

Enya - human warrior
Cassi - human mage
Kerris - nelf priest
Reyn - nelf druid

All between 80 and 85 :D

(and all female, but i am a male. I know cos i just had a bath!)

I might log a bit later and see if there is anyone online from Community.

Also, Frostmane is an awesome server, very active, lots in the AH, very competitve PVE-wise. Good choice ;)

Awesome :)

Really pleased to have some more active members. Community is a awesome guild.

Started a mage on frost yesterday but knowing about the lvl 80's, their free bags and riding skills just sucked the last of the fun out of it. Bitter much? Yup, especially as i dont have any cash or heirlooms to ease the levelling. Doubt ill log on again now, see y'all in Tera!

I'm plodding along with a Gnome mage, with almost no money and no heirlooms :(

What's happening with Bans Hammer? Has everyone splintered off to Alliance? or completely moved to a different server?

The active members of Bans Hammer left.

Others will know more then me, but due to a disagreement between the Guild Leader of Bans Hammer and the most active officer in the alliance. A new Guild has been created on the Alliance side on Frostmane called Community.

Up to about 30ish members with many including myself (Reapszero) levelling a new char. We had 15 on the other night so slowly increasing.

More then happy to send Scrolls out if needed.

Basically this;

Community is a very friendly, fun and social levelling guild for people. We hope to get enough active top level players so that we can PvP and do some PvE content together.

We're on Frostmane, Alliance :)

My character is a Gnome Mage (of which we have loads of mages for some random reason :D) called Lexical, almost anyone can get you involved and there are always people online.

The members we've got online have really surprised me, they're all really nice guys.

I wouldnt mind joining the guild if you dont mind . Thinking of rolling a gnome lock . Not played on ally side since before TBC . Plus i have a scroll if anybody needs one .:)

Do it! :)

Frostmane, Alliance!

FYI anyone in 'Community' can invite people in to the Guild :)

There are always active members so you need not worry about struggling to get an invite.

I appreciate that but at the end of the day, I only really play WoW for the PvE aspect and when I do PvP I prefer to go in a battleground for it or be able to choose my encounters rather than have trouble with some small-weinered adolescent griefer. :(

If OcUK ever starts an RP or PvE guild i'll undoubtedly join, might be able to bring an awesome healer with me too (my missus). :) Until then i'm going to pass, but good luck with the guilds, both of you.

While I understand how **** getting 'ganked' is, don't let it put you off.

I've levelled on PvP servers all my Warcraft life (since first release) and it's not bothered me too much. Saying that, it was ****ing terrible levelling in Vanilla WoW sometimes :p Southshore PvP anyone?! haha

Would be nice if you could nip over and meet the Community and see if you do like it, might be surprised.

What about if I also told you i'm in the business end of the 3rd year of an Engineering degree? I've got a packed month, maybe i'm telling myself it's the PvP putting me off when instead it's just me getting scared of getting addicted again? :p

Nonsense :p

Log in to your Battle.net account > Parental controls and set yourself to only play for XX hours a week ;) or night or what not.

So I've just downloaded all the patches.

How do I accept a scroll and use it on a character that I haven't yet created?

Log in to the game, make a level one in the class you want.

Then go to your account / recruit a friend / claim your reward > pick the level one you made and it will level it up to 80.

I just did this on an alternate account and now have a level 80 Dwarf Pally on Frostmane :)

Come play with us!
